I jumped up and ran outside. Saw a group of vampires walking out of the woods. I grab the closest thing to me that I could use to protect myself and follow the wolves to what looked like the middle of the campsite I get behind the side of the group the vamps don’t attack they just walk up to the group I turn my head to see a little girl hiding behind a tree further away from the group. I stand guard in case I have to step in, I wait patiently. The vamps stop in front of the group.

“My dear friends, I am only here to claim what belongs to me if you don’t want bloodshed. Hand the boy over” he said

Seth steps forward “ what makes you think I will give you anything”

I stay back in the crowd of people that are huddled around me and pay very close attention to what would happen. The vamps looked at each other and signaled someone behind him.

“ oh I don’t think you will but when I show my great treasure that I found in the woods where one of my own was killed I think the thing I am looking for will come forward,” He said

I watched as a bunch of vampires grabbed what looked like a girl, she was young and small, threw her to the ground, and forced her head up. I felt my life crash and brighten at the same time. That girl, that girl was my baby sister, I growled as I saw the way they manhandled her. I didn’t think, I just moved.

“ LET. GO.OF. MY. SISTER” I said my voice like venom to the bone the vamps laughed at me

“What are you going to do if we don’t? AHHH I won’t think this thing is nothing more than an object” He said and they all laughed harder

I felt the anger building up inside of me as I saw the pain and tears running down my sister’s face. I started to feel the familiar buzz in my hands and without thinking I lifted it and fired. Fire shoots out of my hands hitting both vamps that had a hold on my sister.

“ RUN” I screamed

Before I could get the rest out she was already on her feet. When I saw she was safe. I shot fire and set them all on fire. I took the knife I had in my hand and staked the body through the heart. When the bodies were well burnt I made it rain to get the fire out. I dropped my knife and turned to the stunned pack but that was the least of my worries. I walked over to my little sister and dropped to my knees. We didn’t say anything to each other and I couldn’t. I grabbed her and put her in a big hug.

“ I am sorry I left the cave Buba,” she said

“ Oh Grace you scared me so much I thought you died but it doesn’t matter right now what matters is that you are safe,” I said,

I go to stand only to fall back on my back. I heard screams and yelling around but the sounds slowly faded as unconsciousness took over.
