When I woke up I was back in my tent. The birds were chirping and there was a noise outside. I sit up only to feel a heavy body next to me. I turn my head to my sister with her head on the pillow next to me, fast to sleep. I can’t help but smile at her. I look down at my hand to see burn marks for the amount of power that I used. At this point, I was in my own world. I didn’t see or hear the three males come in.

“ So when were you going to tell us you had POWERS?” The sound of the voice startled me a little I jumped and looked up to see Seth, Luke, and Dominic.

“ Au… you scared me a little,” I said they smile

“ I hoped I wouldn’t have to tell you I had powers” I continued

“ Why?” Seth asked I hesitate for a moment not sure what to say

“ I don’t like to use my powers because I can’t control them.” I said looking away,

“ do you have any other powers” Dominic's curiosity rolled through the words

“ yes,” I said

“ what are you,” Seth asked

“ I am a mage except I am special I have all the elemental powers Air, Water, Fire, and Earth,” I said they looked at me in amazement

“ I have heard of people like you but I thought they didn’t exist,” Luke said

“ All my life I was forced to hide my powers and soon they became difficult because my powers became out of control I a lot hurt someone,” I said guilt beginning to rise in me,

“Why were you forced to hide your powers, what did your parents hide even from the rest of your family,” Asked Seth

“ They didn’t want a freak as a son, they thought my powers were freaky and that they didn’t need an imperfect kid in a perfect family. I was always bullied at home and school. It came to the point where I was a prisoner in my own home especially when my stepmom came into the picture.” I explained tears rolling down my face. Before they could ask me any more questions my sister woke up.

“ Baba are you ok” she exclaimed

“Yes sweetheart I am fine,” I said wiping the tears away

The five of us sat there and talked for a while until dinner. We all stood up and walked to the canopy. The closer we walked towards the canopy the more delicious food I saw row upon row of delicious foods such as Strawberries, bananas, pears, and, pineapple that were uncut, there were also vegetables such as squash, carrots, lettuce, broccoli there were also some meats such as pig, deer, and bunny there were even delicious desserts such as cakes pies. We sat down at the end of the table. It felt weird to sit with people I barely knew but it also felt nice to be around people after being in hiding for so long.
