Yukihide couldn't stop laughing after listening to Kinnosuke's explanation on their way home. Who would have thought that Kinnosuke struggled to find him, that it involved so many people and also thanks to the help of the internet? Meanwhile, he did nothing to find Kinnosuke, making him feel insecure in front of Kinnosuke.
"I'm so sorry. It's all Misaki's fault now people think something happens between us. They call you my crush." Kinnosuke bowed apologetically.
"It's not your fault, Kinnosuke-san. If you hadn't done all of this, maybe we wouldn't have met. Thanks for your efforts, Kinnosuke-san.” It was Yukihide's turn to bow, "Thank you for trying so hard to find me."
It felt different when someone thanked Kinnosuke for his hard work. He was very proud to have friends who trusted him so much and were there for him if he needed help. He didn't know what would have happened without Inagaki, Mori and Ueda. Also, thanks to Misaki and his friends from other high schools who voluntarily retweeted Yukihide's sketches at that time.
He was so grateful to have them all—people who didn't abandon him when the world thought he was insane for losing his reflection in the mirror.
Suddenly he grabbed both of Yukihide's hands, gripping them tightly, “Then don't let me down. We must work together to get our reflection back.”
Yukihide didn't answer immediately.

Kinnosuke never did anything half-heartedly. So when he had to find out about the mirror and all its weirdness, he planned it thoroughly. The last time he went to the antique shop where Mr. Matsuoka bought the mirror, he was chased away by an old woman, the shop owner.
Not wanting to be kicked out twice, he kept an eye on the antique shop until he was sure the old lady wasn't in her own shop. His guess was right, as it was getting dark, the old woman was replaced by a young man. Of course, he wouldn't go in alone. This time he went there with Yukihide.
He picked Yukihide up at his house. He was now in front of the beige-painted house. Before he could ring the bell, a girl opened the door. The girl looked younger than him. She wore glasses and her hair was in a ponytail.
"Looking for nii-chan?" The girl asked without greeting him.
Kinnosuke forced a smile, “Nii-chan?” It took his brain a few minutes to process the meaning of the girl's words.
"Shota-nii, I mean."
"Oh!" Only then did he realize that the girl was Yukihide's sister. No wonder her face was familiar since she looked almost identical to Yukihide, "Yes, I'm looking for Yukihide-san."
"Please come in. Nii-chan asked you to wait first. He's taking a shower." Yukihide's sister invited him into the house. He didn't even dare to sit down until Yukihide’s sister told him to but she didn’t. Instead, she walked to the stairs, leaving Kinnosuke standing frozen in front of the door.
“What are you doing there?”
“Didn't your brother ask me to wait?” He was confused.
Yukihide's sister rolled her eyes and then snorted softly. He didn’t know if he should be offended by her behavior or should get used to it?
“Nii-chan told you to wait in the room. Come on, follow me."
The first thing he caught upon entering Yukihide's room was the abstract mural on the wall facing the entrance to his room. The mural, which was dominated by black and white, seemed to be the main focus of the room. For the rest, there was no painting.
Kinnosuke was a little surprised because he thought Yukihide's room would be filled with his sketches or paintings framed on the walls. Apparently, he was wrong. Maybe Yukihide wasn't the type to show off his work.
He didn't dare to sit down or go around to browse through Yukihide's room while waiting. To him it was impolite. So he decided to stand up and observe the room from near the door. A body-sized mirror caught his attention. The mirror was next to a table. Kinnosuke was tempted to see his reflection there.
He stood in front of the mirror, then smiled broadly—showing Yukihide's smiling face too, "I'm Yukihide Shota." He imitated Yukihide's voice, then posed.
“Kinnosuke-san, what are you doing?”
He jumped in surprise and immediately turned around. Yukihide, with a towel wrapped around his neck, was standing in front of the bedroom door and observing Kinnosuke's foolish behavior. His long straight black hair was still half wet.
"I was pretending to be you," he answered honestly.
Yukihide laughed softly, “You know, even if our reflections are swapped, you won't be able to become someone else.” He grabbed the hairdryer and turned it on. He stood beside Kinnosuke and started to look in the mirror. His lips pursed, “Ever since I saw your reflection, I can't dry my hair properly. Because all I see is your short hair. I can only feel my hair but can’t get my hair done."
Kinnosuke's brows furrowed, “Don't blame my hair, please." He pulled Yukihide's hand, and placed it on his head, "Try to feel the softness of my hair. I may have shorter hair, but I can assure you that it’s healthy.”
"My hair’s better." Yukihide replied flatly.
Kinnosuke decided to ignore Yukihide’s remark, "Come on, it's getting late. We should hurry." He grabbed the hairdryer and helped Yukihide dry his hair. The latter screamed as Kinnosuke aimed the hairdryer too close to his scalp.
“Kinnosuke! Did you do it on purpose?” He unplugged his hairdryer.
Kinnosuke grimaced, "Sorry I didn't mean it. Come on, we’ve gotta hurry. The antique shop is going to close soon.”
Then they went together to the antique shop that sold the mirror. On the way to the shop, Yukihide told him about the mirror in the storage room on campus. Hearing that, Kinnosuke insisted on checking the mirror at the campus. At first, Yukihide wasn't that interested in finding out what happened but since he met Kinnosuke, he seemed to be more eager. Yukihide used to have a boring life, only about painting and studying, but it has become more exciting.
