Emilia has always been like this , ever since herself and Skyler arrived here . But I don’t blame her for the person that she has become because it is her parents that are to blame . When Skyler and Emilia were born , my parents thought that my Aunt and Uncle would change their ways and not give Emilia and Skyler the same upbringing that they gave Durion and Orion but how wrong they were , they gave Ace and Xavier the same treatment when they were born .
Their parents made them train morning till night and they were never allowed to be exhausted. Their father wanted invincible shadowhunters as children and their mother wanted her own children for show . That is one of the many reasons as to why the Shadowbloods are hated. Many shadowhunter families are disgusted by the Shadowbloods but they also fear them as their shadowhunter senses are heightened due to their other side . Emilia and Skyler will always have it tough but they don’t let that affect them in any way. Skyler has a parabatai to rely on but Emilia does not and I fear what it is doing to her day by day . Emilia needs someone who will fight with her and not against her , she needs someone who will see the real her and not just a hybrid downworlder .
Until that day comes , Rainier , Locien , Skyler and the Squad will always look out for her till then .
