"Now I remember! She's the lady who tried to freaking kill me! I don't think she remembers me, though. I have to tell the others!" Raven said while looking at her in shock. Raven is 16-years-old now, so it's been 8 years since Sister Krone has seen Raven. Raven is still terrified about Sister Krone. Sister Krone basically scared the living heck out of her childhood.
"Guys, can we talk? In private?" Raven says while looking at Emma, Gilda, Ray, and Norman back and forth to see if Sister Krone is going to do anything.
"Um, sure!" Norman says while the group follows Raven.
"Guys, Sister Krone is not who you think she is. We have history!"
"What do you mean? What "history" do you guys have?" Ray said, feeling as if Raven is paranoid. Ray never trusted Raven since she came. Well, with secrets, of course. They were friends before, when they were little kids! But, that story is for another time.
~Flashback~
"Sister Krone was once my nanny. Me and my mother moved here when I was eight. My dad was in Londen at the time because of his work trip. My mother got a new job here, so she couldn't watch over me in the morning. She hired Sister Krone to take care of me while she was at work. We met at Promised Neverland Goods-."
~Flashback {interrupted}~
"Oh! My mom's bakery!" Emma says, cutting Raven off."
"Yeah, yeah, whatever. Now let me continue, please." Raven says while looking to the right side of her and waving her hand up and down in front of Emma.
~Flashback {continued}~
"Sister Krone randomly comes up to us saying "Hi!". The reason I really hated this place was because of the legends I read about this city being surrounded with orphanages that were actually farms for the demons. Seems the legends were true, right? Anyway, Sister Krone looked at me with a traumatizing smile. She continued to smile at me with that traumatizing smile through the day once we reached my home. She offered to play hide and seek and since I was a little girl who didn't think clearly, I accepted. I was hiding outside and Sister Krone was looking for me in the house. When she couldn't find me yet, things got a little... creepy. She started to run around the house like a maniac when I was under the house. I moved under there because I felt uncomfortable when the sticks and the leaves would touch my back. The way she was running... She looked like she wanted to hurt me! So, I decided to run out of the house and go to the neighbors house. The woman who lived in that house was signaling me to hide because Sister Krone was trying to get inside the house. Sister Krone knew I was inside because she saw me on her porch, so she just went inside the woman's house without her consent. While the woman was dialing 9-1-1, Sister Krone decided to stab her, brutally. I saw another phone in the women's room. I hid in her closet, and dialed 9-1-1. It took a couple minutes before the cops arrived and Sister Krone had grabbed me. Then, a few moments after, she was arrested”.
~Flashback {ended}~
"I haven't seen her since. Well, until now, that is."
"Oh, wow. I'm so sorry you had to go through that, Raven."
"Hey, don't worry about it! My mother saved me from having a terrible childhood. She brought me to waterparks, amusement parks, and other fun places during my school vacations! All of that made me forget all about Sister Krone. But now, we need to leave."
"Not until those demons are gone. Almost everyone in our neighborhood has had their head ripped off, or worse."
"Ray's right. We should at least stay here until those demons have found a place to stay."
"From those stories I've read, the demons will run off at exactly 12:00am."
"So, midnight?" Norman said while looking around at everyone.
Suddenly, Don had inturuped their conversation.
"Hey, guys! Whatcha doin'?"
"Chatting. Don, we have to tell you something." Raven said while trying to see if Sister Krone was around.
"We have to leave at 12:10am. Midnight."
"Wait, I thought we agreed 12:00am." Gilda said looking confused.
"Do you know how many demons are out there? We need to wait at least 10 minutes before we leave. Also, I want to make sure Sister Krone is actually asleep."
"Oh, okay. That's a good idea."
"Yeah. We should wake up at 11:59pm so we can get packed up and get ready to go. After we pack up, someone should watch the door way to see if Sister Krone is up."
"Good idea, Emma!" Gilda said while Emma was blushing.
"From books I've read from, demons take about 5-10 minutes for evacuation. In the northeastern area, from where we're from, they take exactly 5-10 minutes for evactuation. The reason they evacuate is because they know there will be people asleep, locking their doors and defending themselves from what they hate the most, silver. In other places, sometimes they take an hour or 45 minutes. In Alaska, they take less than 3 minutes because they're not able to resist in the cold for so long. They're attracted to heat considering they're demons."
"Yeah! So we should bring some of her silverware so that we can attack any demons we find." Ray said while having a smug on his face and having his arms crossed, as usuall.
"I also forgot to mention," Gilda said while pointing her finger up. "A few extra demons will stay for a minute or so."
"How many demons are we talking about?" Norman asked feeling frightend.
"We're talking about 1-2 demons so, it's not so bad. Sometimes they'll be hidden underground, but the dangerous part is that they can only resist to sound."
"Wait, wait, wait. One, why are we whispering? Two, what is going on? Three, why are we leaving?" Don asked looking confused. So many questions, yet those questions cannot be answered. Not yet.
"Don, we'll explain later. I promise. But right now, we need to get ready."
"Wait, Gilda. You do think that leaving at 12:10am is a good idea?"
"Yes, because those "extra" demons will soon leave after not hearing a single sound out of these people."
"Okay. Right now it's about 8:30pm, so we have about 3 hours and 40 minutes. We should probably get some sleep."
"Wait, do you hear that?" Don said while everyone turned silent.
"I don't hear anything." Raven said, having a confused face.
"Exactly. There isn't any sound whatsoever."
"So?" Emma asked.
"So that means that either Sister Krone is sleeping, or she must be doing something else." Ray said while looking suspicious.
"Hey, did you guys see the look on her face when we mentioned about Mrs. Isabelle?"
"Yeah, she seemed kind of...anxious or something."
"Yeah, she was also sweating and exagerating when she said that she had no idea about Mrs. Isabelle's "dark secret". Emma added.
"She must have something to do with thi-" Suddenly, as Raven was speaking, something had broken into the house, landing on Raven.
