Hello everyone. My name is Zero_to_Hero. Today I would like to write an AU where both Gravity Falls and The Owl House were debuted as video game franchises. MasterCaster's fanfic, 'Owl House: Disney Renaissance AU Concept' has inspired me to make this.

Now how will the games be different than both shows:

Gravity Falls

1. The art style will be similar to The Owl House's art style (for now). It is based on a DeviantArt pic I saw. The Owl Falls by TurquoiseSpace35. The characters are made in TOH style while still recognizable as GF characters.
2. Dipper and Mabel's parents are seen in the games.
3. The games will still take place in 2012, but since the game would be released in 1999, where cameras haven't been invented yet, Dipper and Mabel would have to use old cameras.
4. Unlike the show, blood will be seen in the games. Nothing extreme or gory though. Granted the games will have Teen ratings from the ESRB, but whatever. You get it.
5. The Gravity Falls universe is set in the exact same universe as The Owl House universe.

The Owl House

1. Luz, Eda, and King and others will be in their pilot designs for the first two games.
2. Luz will still learn the light spell by seeing the glyphs in the spell circle Eda produced. Though since the game would be released in 2000, where cameras haven't been invented yet, Luz would have to use an old camera she found in Eda's house.
3. The games would take place in 2012.
4. Along with Gravity Falls, blood will be seen in the games. Nothing extreme or gory though. Again, the games will have Teen ratings from the ESRB, but whatever. You get it.
5. The Owl House universe is set in the exact same universe as the Gravity Falls universe.
6. Luz will only speak Spanish (for now).

Cast:

Some characters will have more than once choice voice actor/actress. Since the first games would be released in 1999 and 2000, here are some of the roles to help you imagine them as these characters up until a certain point.

Now I know what you're thinking, "Dude, why do you want them to recast?". Well, the argument that I hear is that people say, "Isn't it disrespectful to recast characters when their voice actor/actress dies?". Well, that's debatable depending on how you look at it. Here's the thing, it happens with sequels and remakes, and sometimes even remasters. So yeah, I understand why certain people feel that way, but it happens. That's how businesses work. They're gonna recast the voices of the characters whenever a voice actor/actress dies, or just stopped doing it. Again, I know some people won't like it, but they have no choice, they had to. Some people like the new voices, and some people don't.
