*The plot will follow the first half of the first season of The Owl House. Element from the first ten episodes of season 1 makes up the entire game; Those being from 'A Lying Witch and a Warden' to 'Escape of the Palisman'. *

Synopsis: When a Spanish speaking Dominican teen, Luz Noceda, was being sent to Reality Check camp due to her weirdness, she was following an owl and suddenly she entered a world full of magic & creatures alike while meeting Eda the Owl Lady & her demon dog-like companion, King. In order to get home, Luz must help them with a mission. An ancient wizard gives Luz a map for a mystical quest.

Gameplay: The game is a 3D action-adventure game played in a third-person view. The player can take control of Luz and King, and they can freely switch between them at any moment during the game. In 2P co-op, one player is Luz and the other player is King. Both Luz and King can perform basic actions such as walking, running, and jumping. The two characters have different abilities. Luz can combat enemies with glyph magic and look for clues using an old camera, while King despite being a high ranked hero, is a self-professed expert on his own kind, having several books to make potions, and he can make a distraction so that Luz can pass by other witches and other creatures. The player can also pull off special moves (with certain ones only done in 2P co-op). The game features a realistic day/night cycle. Players can check their inventory. The game also includes humor. The player can also check the map. The map has a hint system that shows the player where to go but it doesn't actually tell them how to get there. That's up to the player.

Trivia:

  1. This is the first game in the series.
  2. The Director's Cut version for the Xbox features enhanced graphics with a 16:9 widescreen display, art gallery, trailers, and a CD soundtrack.
  3. The cutscenes are 2D animated in widescreen.
  4. The game will feature different difficulty modes.
  5. The game is rated T for Teen by the ESRB for animated blood, animated violence, and mild language.

Well, that's The Owl House in the video game series. I hope you all enjoyed it!

The next chapters will be filled with sequels. Thank you so much for reading and I'll see you next time.
