The Owl House Extreme 2 is a complete remake of The Owl House 2. Because the remake is a completely different game, the plot is the same, but the visuals are completely different because they were made from scratch, and the voices were re-casted, and the cutscenes were also redone, and it also uses Unreal Engine 4.
Synopsis: After the events of the first game, when Luz was mastering her magic skills, she must figure out how to help Eda with her curse. Meanwhile with Emperor Belos, he assigns on Lilith to capture Eda, in exchange of inducting the rogue witch into the coven. Lilith is not happy with this and now she has to save her own sister, but she'll need Luz and her friends' help.
Gameplay: The Owl House Extreme 2 is a 3D action-adventure game played from a third-person view. It is a remake of The Owl House 2 (2005), so the game is completely different. The gameplay mechanics are the same as The Owl House 5, The Owl House Extreme, and The Owl House 0, and because it's a remake, the game has the same story plot as the original. The game now uses an upgraded graphics engine, Unreal Engine 4 to update the physics, visuals, and redo the cutscenes. And the voices for the characters were re-casted. The character designs are the same as they were from The Owl House 3 and onwards. This game has brought back 4P co-op, so now all the playable characters in the original version are back. The playable characters are Luz, King, Lilith, Amity, Willow, and Gus.
Trivia:
- It is the first game in the series that was published by Square Enix on Microsoft platforms.

- The Nintendo Switch version will utilize the HD rumble and have gyro support.
- The game can either be purchased as a stand-alone game, or part of a repackaged bundle for the Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S called The Owl House Enhanced Collection.
- The game is rated T for Teen by the ESRB for alcohol reference, blood, crude humor, fantasy violence, mild language, and suggestive themes.
