"Zion, should I get a haircut?" "You should your hair is a bit messy"  I Sigh and grab my uniform and start to change.
Once I'm done changing I go downstairs to be greeted by someone unexpected. Seeing him makes my lips curl up. "D-dad" "Hey Son!" As he hugs me I'd Shed a few tears here and there.

As He breaks the hug I ask him how the adventure was. "Well, I was attacked by a Wolf companion" "Yikes" From the kitchen my mother yells "Aiden! You need to get on the road! "HAI!" I Say Bye to Mom and dad My mom is worried since I'm traveling alone but I decide to let them on a secret. "Mom the lizard isn't an ordinary lizard it's a Dragon so I will be fine" I was expecting to get yelled at but she smiled. "Okay," she said my dad being shocked like he saw a ghost I grabbed my backpack, and Zion comes sliding down the stairs on the railing and landed on top of my head.

 I open the door and look back at my parents "I will make you proud!" As I close the door and dash off.

But In reality, when I left my mom broke down in tears. My dad comforted her as much as he could. I've been traveling for three hours now. Since I live pretty far from the academy it's gonna take a while mom told them this when I sign up so I'm all good besides the first day is just to get settled in. "Aiden I sense something off" "What is it Zion?" All of a sudden three bandits jump out in front of me (not surprised I got ambushed this pathway has a lot of trees and bushes) All three of them start dashing towards me "By the looks of it, these bandits are very weak looking at their stance and everything so many openings"

"I have some combat experience before dad left time to put that to the test!" The first bandit goes to stab me But I put some mana into my hands. I grab the sword at the end and shatter it completely must've been a cheap sword I then switched the mana into my legs and kick the bandit in the torso sending him back a bit as I appear in front of him. Fusing the mana into my hands again I punch him in the head hard enough to knock him out. 

This all happened very quickly as the other two tried to jump me. one was running at me from the front and the other from the backside. I Jump up fusing mana into my legs and split-kick them. See when fighting you gain experience and so your mana core upgrades so not knowing I was growing in strength that kicked knocked them out. I landed on the ground with the bandits knocked out. This whole time Zion was wrapped around my neck "You good zion?" "Yep," he replies I look at the bandits as I glow for a couple of seconds "What was that?" "Your mana core has upgraded into the second stage the Exphour stage" "Oh.." I start scavenging the bandits looting what they got on and a sword for protection. Now that I remember my dad did say this pathway had a lot of bandits.

I Stand up from resting and Start walking again. My journey has just begun!
