Allexina, the only girl in their small trio, was no longer th esmall helpless child in the streets. She became a smart, strong and dignified woman in society. After she pulled a stunt (nearly decapitating a innocent bystander) the duke took intrest in her. She held immense amount of mana dispite not realizing it and had a spark in her eyes, begging him to tak eher away from the streets that confined her. Thus he adopted her. Despite that fact she does not call him father but they have a rather strong master and desciple relationship. This also meant the Duke didn't have to get married to have a heir which he saw as a plus side in to adopting her.

Allexina grew and left the past behind, and with her past she left her heart.

"You called me, Duke?" she asked as she entered the doors to his office.

"Ah, yes. Alexander, leave us," Alexander parvis was a count loyal to Duke Pedestros. He bowed before taking his leave.

"i wanted to speak to you about your 18th birthday day we will be hosting."

"Ah yes, that. Did something happen?" she asked, not truly caring. Truthfully, that wasn't her real birthday, but one she and her friends had chosen, Viorel's birthday the day after hers and Alroy's after Viorel.

"My brother, the emperor will be coming," he said giving her a look.

"Ah. Alright, I understand," she replied nodding her head before taking her leave.
