"And there is your baby."

The woman points to the small black blob on the screen, her lips turning into a smile as she adjusts the camera to get a better angle. A set of tiny hands move on the computer screen, waving hello for the first time. I feel my eyes warm with tears as I clutch onto Knox's hand. 

"As you can see, your baby is very healthy and strong!"

"Can you tell the gender?" Knox smiles eagerly at the woman as she looks to the corner of the screen with a smirk. 

"I do know the gender, would mother like to know?" Did I want to know right away? Knox's hand clutch mine and I feel his need to through the bond. I smile and nod to the woman as she moves the camera from my belly and presses a few buttons on the screen. The printer begins making a noise in the corner of the room, and I wiggle in excitement as she smiles at us both. 

"You will be having a baby boy, congratulations!" I hold my stomach as Knox leans down and presses his lips to my head - we didn't mind what gender our baby was, but I think Knox secretly wanted a boy first. 

"I will leave you both to get yourselves together; there is no rush to leave!" I smile as the lady stands and quickly disappears from the room. My heart thuds in my chest, causing butterflies to stir as Knox leans down and presses his lips to my stomach. I shiver at the feel of his warm lips and softly push my fingers through his hair as he whispers something against my skin. His eyes sparkle as he inhales my pheromones, his mouth quirking up as he peers up at me.

"How can I thank you?"

"What have you got to thank me for?" He smiles and gently places his cheek on my stomach. Then, he closes his eyes and lets out a breath that causes goosebumps across my stomach. 

"You are carrying my child - our child. My fated mate is bringing a part of me into the world. Whatever you want, you can have it." I laugh,

"I already have you and our baby; what more could I need?" Knox shrugs and stands, leaning his body down to capture my lips. His tongue invades my mouth, and I whimper. I clutch at the collar of his shirt and pull him closer, wrapping my arms tightly around his neck as he pulls away slightly with a smile. 

"How about I take you away? My parents are dying to meet you."

"Your parents?" He nods, his demeanour completely casual - he just brought up me meeting his parents as if it were nothing. 

"Won't they be angry with us?" Knox shakes his head and laughs at me, which makes me growl at him, my teeth showing as he nuzzles the side of my neck and places a sloppy kiss against my skin.

"My silly, beautiful Omega. My parents already know you are pregnant and don't care that we're not married! On the contrary, they are happy that I've met someone as beautiful and smart as you and have demanded you visit the island for weeks!" My eyes widen, and I slap Knox's chest causing him to laugh again. 

"They've been asking to meet me for weeks?" He shrugs,

"I'm sorry, we were a little occupied!"

"You shouldn't keep your parents waiting, Knox!"

"He's right; you know Father has a temper!" Aiden walks into the room, a file nestled beneath his arm as he takes a set of images from the corner of the room and walks towards us. He hands them to Knox, who stares down at the pictures with a smile. 

"Aiden, we weren't expecting you!"

"Did you expect me not to drop by? The health of my brother's baby is significant to me, as is your safety." I roll my eyes as Aiden sits on the stool the lady had previously sat in. He opens the file and reads through its contents with a frown - I can't believe I was a part of this family. 

"So you've found out it's a boy - I bet Knox is ecstatic!"

"Of course he is - we didn't care what the gender was, but I know he wanted a boy!" Aiden laughs and closes the file. He stares at my stomach and frowns again before handing me a paper towel. I smile at him and softly wipe my stomach. At least someone finally remembered to give me some paper towels!

"So, when are you going to see Mum and Dad? We'll probably come up with you and make a vacation out of it - the island is usually pretty hot this time of year!" Knox settles beside me and takes my hand, 

"Probably next week if that's ok for Jax; I don't want to stress him out!"

"You are giving me three days to prepare?" Aiden laughs before standing - what was with these two?

"Well, I'll leave you both to argue and discuss - no intercourse in the hospital room, thou, keep this a sanitary environment!" Knox growls which makes me smile - my silly, possessive Alpha.
