It was eleven at night and Luka went to bed a few hours ago due to exhaustion from his crying episode. I was in the living room watching nothing in particular on the TV but I couldn’t go to bed either as I was to leave for Idris in an hour . I was already packed and ready to go for when Valerian contacted me to meet him at the institute . I despise Idris so much , I hate going back there , I hate the stares that I get off of onlooking shadowhunters on the streets. But they can’t do anything towards me as I am the inquisitor's daughter .
