The door unlocked. “All we gotta do is grab our bags and get outta here cause I ain’t staying another night. I’ll keep hold of the Keys once Raven and I have got our bags we will meet you at your room. Everyone clear on the plan?” Rose said.

“Yes,” the other three said in unison. They tiptoed down the corridors in which they had been dragged down earlier that day. It was now night but in those cubicles, it felt like time stopped they thought they had only been in there for an hour or two but they had in fact been in their most of the day. They got near the girls' room and there was a boy stood in front of them he had very little muscle so didn’t seem like he was the strongest of all TSOA kids. “Why are you here?” The boy asked.

“What business is that of yours?” Raven asked. 

“Well I’m head boy Thomas Westhall and I check that everyone is where they should be and you all should be in the isolation booths so I’m going to have to take you there so come on,” Thomas said. He then reached for the four to push them in the direction of the booths room. “Don’t you dare touch any of us or I swear you’ll have no hands” Tyler yelled. 

“Was that a threat?” Thomas asked. 

“Nah it was just a friendly piece of advice you stupid git, of course, it was a threat,” Tannis said. Thomas remained quiet. “What’s wrong cat got ya tongue,” Tannis said then blurting out into uncontrollable laughter.

“No one talks to me like that you ugly scoundrel” Thomas replied

“Wait a damn minute ain’t no one talk to my brother like that” Raven said as she swung a punch at Thomas. It connected with his face and caused him to yelp in pain as a blue bruise started forming on his cheek. “Not so cocky now are ya,” Raven said. She turned around and faced everyone as she walked back to them something forceful pushed her over. Tyler sprinted past Raven who was laid on the floor he then grabbed Thomas and kneed him in the gut. Once again Thomas yelped in pain but this time he fell to his knees.

“Ain’t nobody hurt my rav- FRIENDS,” Tyler said as he looked down upon Thomas who was squirming and holding his stomach. Tyler then rushed over to the others and skidded across over to Raven. “Are you ok Rave?” 

“Yeah I’m ok knees are just a bit bruised but it’s all ok”

“I’m gonna kill him no one touches my sister!” Tannis yelled. Rose walked away from them and went to Thomas she met his gaze and said: “if you touch any of my family again you don’t know how much pain I’m gonna put you in.” Tyler helped Raven up and said “go with Rose grab your stuff and we are getting outta here. Tonight. Look after yourselves though you both are bruised now so once you are in your room wet a towel and put it on the bruises” 

“Ok. Come on Rose let’s blow this popsicle stand” Raven said.

“Be ready in 15” Tannis said as they departed. The girls rushed in their door to their bags and stuffed everything into them. They then grabbed some rags and soaked them in cold water and placed them on their bruises to ease the swelling on Rose’s ribs and Raven's knees. Once the boys got to their room they grabbed their bags. “Put your stuff in my bag and put all the pillows and blankets in your bag cause if we get outta here we can’t go home and we gonna need summit to keep us warm,” Tyler said.

“Ok,” Tannis said rushing to strip all the beds of their pillows and blankets “done. Let's go get the girls and get outta here.”
