Another hour past by and they had reached the end of what seemed like a never-ending road. An illuminated M stood before them. “McDonald's!” Rose screamed with joy. 

“Hey, why don’t we get something from their whilst we try to find shelter?” Raven asked. 

“Ok but remember only two are going in so how about Rose and Tannis go this time,” Tyler said.

“Ok what you all want?” Tannis asked.

“I’ll have a cheeseburger and fries with a  strong coffee,” Raven said.

“I’ll have the same” Tyler said.

“Come on then Harley lets go in,” Rose said. Once they entered to shop it was like a breath of warmth had pounded them in the face. The air conditioning was blasting from an air vent. They made their way to the counter where they then placed their order grabbed their ketchup and waited for their food to be made. Meanwhile outside Raven and Tyler lit up cigs and began to talk. “Hey, how come you don’t live with your parents but Bailey does?” Raven asked.

“Well my dad has been pushing me ever since I was a kid to take over his business when I grow up and I never wanted to and still don’t and he just kept having a go at me about it so I moved out,” Tyler said. 

“Aww,” Raven replied.

“You don’t need to sympathise me you know just cause I told you I live alone don’t mean anything’s changed I’m still the same person”

Tyler said.

“I know” 

“Don’t tell anyone though your the only one who knows besides Bailey and my parents.”

“Don’t worry your secrets safe with me.” 

“How come they are taking so long?” Tyler asked. 

“Maybe there was a big queue” Raven replied.  The stars glistened in the sky like little diamonds and all things were silent. Until.

“Hey I know where we can sleep for tonight” Tyler exclaimed. 

“Where?” Raven asked. 

“We could steal that car” Tyler replied. 

“No way are we doing that” 

“Why not?”

“Because if we do we will be fugitives you stupid git” 

“Ugh alright it was just an idea” 

“Yeah, a stupid one,” Raven said bursting out into laughter.

“Yeah very funny but seriously where are we gonna sleep.”

“I don’t know but let’s just eat our food once they bring it and walk for a while hoping to find somewhere and if we don’t we going to have to snuggle together to keep warm and fall asleep.” After that Tannis and Rose exited the shop with food.

“Took ya long enough,” Tyler said.

“Yeah I know we were stood there for ages. But anyway two cheeseburgers and fries with strong coffee for you two and two hamburgers and fries with Coca Cola for us two” Tannis replied.

“Thanks, Harley” Raven and Tyler said in unison. They then stood up and put out their cigs on a bin and they were all back to walking again but this time with some warm food. “I haven’t had one of these in ages I forgot what they tasted like,” Raven said whilst laughing.

They all continued to stuff their faces until it was all gone and all that was left was their drinks. About twenty minutes into their walk and Raven fell but she hadn’t tripped over anything. “Indigo are you ok?” Tannis and Tyler asked.

“Yeah, I just went a little light-headed” She replied.

“She needs to sleep,” Rose said.

“Let’s go over there,” Tyler said pointing to a large oak tree. They walked over to the tree Tyler and Tannis holding tight onto Raven in case she went light-headed again.
