Aila's POV

Drip Drip Drop
It's still raining.
But I have calmed down now. After the whole crying and sobbing, Herbert and I returned to my home, where everything started then I called the cops to report what happen.
Now, the police came in and currently investigating the scene.
"Quite an odd case, I must say." One of the detectives said as he saw the blood written message by the window.
"Have your grandmother mentioned anything about this message?" He asked but I just stared at him, still can't believe Lala Mamay is still missing.
"Oh! pardon my rudeness, I forgot to introduce myself. Detective Stephen Jones at your service. I'm supposed to say nice to meet you but I think circumstances made this encounter not very 'nice'." The detective said as he showed his badge and id to me.
"I really don't know anything about stars and whatnot but please find my grandmother, she's not in the best condition to go out." I replied, I think another breakdown is coming any second now. Then I felt Herbert patted my shoulder. Maybe to calm me down once again.
"Hmm...report says your grandmother is suffering from Alzheimer's disease but fret not, our men are doing their best in this investigation."
"Thank you, Detective Jones."
Drip Drip Drop
Now that I think about it, where am I suppose to stay while they are investigating my house?
Lala Mamay is the only relative I have left. Hmm... this is troublesome
I have been thinking where should I stay when-
"Hey, are your things ready?" Herbert came up to me and asked me making me confused
"Eh? What things?" I asked him
"You can't just go empty handed, ya know." He said as he scratched his head and I'm still confused
"Go empty handed to where?" I asked again, hoping the next reply will clear things out but he just smiled at me and said "My place."
...---...
Lord, if you really exist... Please let her be safe, I beg of you.
