As Alroy waited for the emperor, his mind wandered to Viorel's name on the guest list.

"Shall we depart then, Alroy?" the emperor's voice pulled him from out oof his thoughts.

"Of course your majesty."

A little while later, they arrived at the Grand Dukes Mansion.

"Your emperor has arrived," a loud voice boomed as they stood at the top of the flight of stairs. All eyes went to the emperor before they immediatly bowed down to his prescene.

Alroy on the other hand was skimming through the people to see if he could find Viorel, but the emperor had already started to decend the stairs before he could finish.

'I suppose, only time will tell?'
