I walked into the Sheriff's office. "Goodmorning Sheriff Ryder!" I said excitedly. ~ Today is the day I tell him I want to be the next Sheriff of our town. He already has a nephew next in line, but he's so lazy! He can't even ride Billy! And he's the easiest horse to ride! And I'm qualified to do everything a Sheriff has to be able to do! And I'm top of my class! If that's not good enough, then what is? ~ "Sheriff Ryder, I have something to say." I paused. "... I want to be the next Sheriff after you. " Sheriff Ryder spits out his drink. There is a long silence in the room. Then there was sudden Laughter all around the office. "You can't be Sheriff! Your a girl! Plus, my nephews next in line." As everyone continues laughing, I wore and annoyed face. "then I'll prove myself worthy!" "To do that, you'd have to train as Sheriff Ryders student! And take tests!" Another man in the room said. "Deal." Said Sheriff Ryder. "Deal" I said. "We'll start tomorrow morning."
