It had been a few months since I've been born, and I discovered a few things. This is not Earth. This world is called The Upside-Down World. The place where I'm currently living is called The Southern Archipelago. I'm living on an Island apparently. What I also discovered is that the term 'human’ isn’t relative nor is it an appropriate way of describing an individual. Here in this world, there are species with animal characteristics, like my father. He has characteristics of a snake, and my mother is apparently a crocodile. Such a combination. Wich also explains the fact that I must always be kept warm. I can’t warm myself up and I also don’t have to eat a lot of food because of this. 

 I can only go out in the summer. It’s now spring so I hope I can at least crawl before that. But controlling my body is harder than I thought. I don’t have the muscle development I had before. I can sit down though. It takes some effort, but the result is legendary. It's like getting the best grade possible at school after working hard. I really do get a feeling of satisfaction out of this. 

 I also have a mirror within my eyesight. And I got to say, I really think I will grow up handsome. I have a blue tongue, I also have green hair, like my father. I have bright yellow snake eyes, or crocodile eyes, I don’t really know the difference between the two except the things that those eyes can do. But they are both yellow and both have the same shape and the same pupil. My skin is also a bit weird. It's like a white skin with grey undertone and a faint trace of pink. My lips are also a bit purple-blue-Ish of colour. Like I'm hypothermic. My lashes are also white, and my eyebrows are brown. I definitely look more like my father.
