It's now the end of the year at school. Keeping my reptile thing secret didn’t work out so everyone knows now. I have the best grades in class, it's way too easy for me. Jett on the other hand had a really hard time keeping up. I had to tutor him every day after school for him to get an average grade. I suspect he has ADHD, but it’s not confirmed. I don’t think they even diagnose people with mental illnesses here. They will just think you're weird, I guess. 

People also don’t call me Vandis anymore. I'm being called Van. But every time I hear that I think about something completely else. I think about children being kidnapped and being put in a white van. But that doesn’t exist here. Only my teachers call me Vandis. I think it's tiring. I am not even used to being called Vandis, let alone getting a nickname all of a sudden. 

Jett has been really close to me lately. He thinks I'm going to die because it’s getting colder. He’s being getting clingy. It really annoys me to the point where I have to shove him away from me for personal space. I also don't know when it started but he gives me a lot of hugs lately too. It’s kind of cute. I also noticed something else about Jett. He is a total outcast. He also doesn't act though like other boys at school. When he is hurt, he just cries, like he has no shame.
