A few weeks had passed since training began, Daniella and Vivian are in the team too although they rarely spoke outside the field.
After Sahra decided to stay in the cheer team her and Charlotte became close since they have the same training schedule and both the soccer and cheer teams trained in the field.
On this particular day everyone was training out in the field when it suddenly started raining, all the girls ran to the changing room and quickly took off their wet clothes to change into their regular uniforms.
-Oh crap- said Sahra
-What happened?- asked Charlotte
-I forgot my uniform- Sahra replied
Not a second had passed before Charlotte got an idea to help her friend
-You can have mine- She said
-What? No, you’ll get sick and it will be my fault- Sahra replied worryingly
-Don’t worry I’m gonna be fine, a little sharing never hurt nobody - She said with a smile on her face
Sahra smiled and hugged her
-Thank you so much- Sahra said
-No worries, just get dressed before you catch a cold- Charlotte replied
Charlotte handed Sahra her uniform which she then put on
-It’s a little small for me- Sahra said while looking at herself in the mirror, she was taller than Charlotte so her clothes looked smaller on her
-You look fine- Charlotte replied while also checking out how Sahra looked in her uniform
-The skirt is too short- She said as she pulled down the skirt as much as she could
Charlotte walked over to the mirror and looked her up and down
-No one’s gonna look, trust me, and if they do I’ll kick them- Charlotte joked
Both girls laughed and walked out of the changing room
The next day Sahra went to class like any other day but noticed she didn’t see Charlotte all day, filled with worry she went to find the only person she knew who was close to her.
During their lunch break she approached Kayla, who oddly was eating alone, Sahra remembers always seeing Charlotte and Kayla sitting together in the dining hall.
-Hey, you’re Charlotte’s roommate right? I’m Sahra, I helped you find your room on the first day- Sahra said
-Oh, hey- she replied awkwardly
-I was just wondering, I haven’t seen Charlotte all day, is she alright?- She asked worryingly
-She’s sick, but don’t worry she’ll be fine in a few days
-Oh no, thanks for telling me, I’m gonna go see her, bye- She waved as she left to find Charlotte’s room, she couldn’t help but feel a wave of guilt take over her as she remembers the previous day’s incident.
Charlotte was in bed checking what homework the teachers had sent when she suddenly heard a knock on her door
-Who is it?- She said
As the door opened and Sahra’s head peeked through the door Charlotte’s face lit up
-Hey, Kayla told me you were sick, how are you feeling?- Said Sahra with a worried look on her face- It’s my fault you’re sick, I should be the one being sick right now. You must be feeling like crap, I’m sorry
-I’m fine you don’t have to worry, it’s not your fault that I’m sick I’m a big girl I can make my own decisions, no one forced me to give you my clothes.
The girls kept chatting for a while until the sound of the door opening startled them. Sahra looked at the time on her phone and when she realized it was 6:00pm her heart raced as she realized how much time had passed, she had completely forgotten about her last classes of the day while she was with Charlotte.
-Oh hey, I didn’t know you would still be here- Kayla said looking at the curly haired girl walk up to the door
-I didn’t realize it was so late, I should go back to my dorm- She said as she walked out the door, not before turning around to say goodbye to her friend- Bye, I hope you feel better soon- She finished right before shutting the door
The next day Sahra left her room worried that Charlotte was not gonna be in class when she got there and headed to the dining room for breakfast.
Sahra poured herself a bowl of cereal and went over to her regular table where her friends waited for her. At the same time she was also trying to look for Charlotte.
Sahra’s eyes explored the room in look for Charlotte and right when she was starting to give up her eyes met with Charlotte’s beautiful blue eyes, they waved at each other and Sahra, now happy knowing Charlotte is back on her feet, went over to sit with her friends.
Sahra and Charlotte were sitting in Mrs. Smith’s math class when the bell rang, the girls picked up their books and were headed to the door right before their teacher stopped them.
-Girls, may I have a word with you two?
Charlotte and Sahra looked at each other with confusion and proceeded to sit in the front row.
-Miss Davis, as you might know your performance in this class is almost excellent and Miss Abrams here could use some extra tutoring after missing yesterday’s class. So, in order to get some extra credit you could tutor your classmate for a while until she catches up with the rest of the class, would that be alright with you both? - Mrs. Smith explained
-Sure, can you meet me tomorrow after class in the library?- Sahra asked while looking at Charlotte
-Yeah -Charlotte replied
Both girls left and went back to their rooms, both thinking about the following day’s meetup
Sahra and Charlotte have both started training for their respective sports but one little mishap, a generous heart and a few rainy clouds caused Charlotte to fall sick and miss a whole day of school, luckily for her their maths teacher appoints Sahra to revise what Charlotte missed with her on a tutoring session
This is the story of how two girls' love expanded as they grew and matured through their high school years at prestigious boarding school "Monarch Academy for Girls".
Through the story we get to watch Charlotte and Sahra form a unique bond that will help them through all their high school shenanigans.
