Read ZERO (BL) :: Chapter 1

Zero's POV:

White. Everything is white. My bed, the walls, the floor and even my clothes. I wonder what other colours there are in the outside world. I never saw anything else besides black, white, silver, blue and...red. Everyone wears special glasses and a hairnet, so I don't know what colour their eyes and hair are. I suppose I also have colours. But I never saw myself.

I tried to sleep but the wounds are hurting me. The side effects of the painkillers are also wearing off. It hurts. I hope I can escape someday. I've been here since birth, and I'm already 20 years old now. All the other test subjects already left. I've never actually seen them though. I also wonder who my parents are. I was told that I don't have any and that I was designed. But little did they know that my level of intelligence didn't fail even the slightest bit. I know that they need human DNA to make a designer baby. So maybe they are just employees of this lab.

What's this? Did the light just flicker? It suddenly went dark. I have no time to hesitate, I'm going to escape! I walked towards my door, It's unlocked. I walked out as silently as I could, not making any sound. I heard someone yelling “What the hell just happened?”, it's officially confirmed that this was not intentional. I see light! Is that an exit?! I ran as fast as I could and escaped through the door.

Olin's POV:

School started a month ago, and I already want it to end. It's tiring. Everyone sees me as a villain because I have an eyepatch and wear black clothes. But the truth is that I'm on a school for heroes. I want to be a hero. Not to help the weak, but to support other heroes. Another truth is that I just got send out of class because I spilled ink over the table. Such a drag, I know. But as I was walking through the hallway, I decided to skip my next class. As I was walking towards the door, I noticed that there where people in lab coats running through the school. They were screaming things like “We must find him!” or “Get him!”. Are they chasing someone?

As I turned around the corner, I saw someone dressed in white laying on the ground. “Are you alright?” I asked that person. He didn't respond. Shit. I grabbed him and tilted him up. I took him with me as I walked towards the toilets. I closed the door behind me, and I put him down. He weighed very little. Does he eat at all? As I was watching him, I noticed that he had a bracelet with a barcode on it. Did he escape from some kind of hospital? By the way...WHAT AM I GOING TO DO NOW?!
