Zero's POV:
What did he just say? That there's a chance that I'm his child? That's not possible right? “Let me explain a bit further.” Sebastian said. “You see, about 20 years ago, me and Henry gave ourselves up for the designer baby project. We both gave up our DNA, which they would combine to create a child. But they told us that the project failed, and that the child died. But we got our suspicions after the other baby's did succeed the experiment. And when Henry went to talk to one of those subjects 4 years later, they told us that there were 5 of them.” Sebastian explained. I don't know how to react. I never imagined that I would be able to know who my parents are.
Henry broke the silence by saying, “Do you mind if we do a DNA test to confirm our suspicions?” I nodded. Of course, I wouldn't mind. This is something I didn't dare to dream all those years. “Great.” Sebastian replied. Just as we were done, Olin came back. “I'm back!” he said. “Where did you go?” Henry asked. “I went to get some clothes for Zero.” he replied. I walked towards him and grabbed his clothes. When I started to take off my shirt, Olin suddenly said, “Wait, don’t change your clothes here!” I looked at him. I always had to change my clothes in front of someone back at the lab, so this confused me a little. “You can take him to the bathroom, Olin” Henry said.
I walked behind Olin towards the stairs. I know the purpose of stairs, but actually having to climb them is scary. I never had to climb up to stairs. We arrived at the so-called bathroom. It was a big room with a toilet, shower and a sink. They had a lot of blue colours in the bathroom. I suddenly saw something white go past me, and I flinched. I heard Olin laughing behind me. “That's a mirror you dummy!” He said while laughing. I looked in the direction of the mirror. So that white thing was...me? As I took a closer look, I could see that I had white hair, white skin, white eyelashes and lips with very little colour in them. My Irises were completely black, which made me unable to see what was part of my pupils and what was part of my irises. So that is where all my pigment went to.
