Once I opened the portal , Durion , Ace , Skyler , Locien and I stepped through and we ended up in the grounds of a wealthy estate . I looked around the grounds and it was impressive. Whoever owned this estate was as rich as my family . I looked towards Durion and he just had a smirk on his face. I just rolled my eyes at him before we started to make our way towards the house in front of us or should I say mansion .
‘’ You finally made it Durion , I was worried that something happened to you ‘’ The man said to which Durion just scoffed in reply .
‘’ I’m not a Shadowblood for nothing Sell ‘’ Durion said before walking past the man and entering the house .
‘’ These must be the infamous Shadowblood twins of the Downworld . ‘’ The man said after shutting the door and walking over to stand next to Durion .
‘’ Yes Sellion , that is them . Mila , Sky introduce yourselves ‘’ Durion said before nodding towards Skyler and I .
‘’ I’m Emilia Shadowblood and I’m a wolf / Shadowhunter hybrid , as you probably already know ‘’ I said before looking towards Sky .
‘’ I’m Skyler Shadowblood and I’m a witch / Shadowhunter hybrid and this is my parabatai Locien ‘’ Skyler said, glancing at Locien for a brief moment .
‘’ It’s a pleasure to meet you both , I’m assuming that Durion has told you nothing about why you're here ‘’ The man said, looking between Skyler and I .
‘’ Durion has only informed us that you are his most trusted friend and I know that this will sound very blunt but you're a vampire aren’t you ‘’ I said .
‘’ Yes Miss Shadowblood I am a vampire and so is my brother who is not here at the moment . The reason why you're here Miss Shadowblood is because you and your brother are in danger and Durion trusts me enough to protect you from your father . ‘’ The man called Sellion said .
‘’ Your brother is right behind us isn’t he? It's a bit rude that he didn’t introduce himself to us , instead of you . Can he not talk? ‘’ I said before turning to look at Sellion’s brother .
‘’ Ohhh princess , I can talk alright , I just choose not to ‘’ The man named Airion said with a sly smirk . I hate him already .
‘’ Don’t call my sister that Airion , Have some respect , Remember she’s above you . She may be younger than you , but her name states her authority ‘’ Durion said, not liking the way that Airion spoke to me .
‘’ I apologise Miss Shadowblood and also to you Durion , Airion has no manners and he does not seem to care about people’s authority in the downworld ‘’ Sellion said behind me .
‘’ Ace and I better be leaving , Our parents will get suspicious as to why we’re gone . Mila , Skyler take care and don’t cause any trouble ‘’ Durion said before walking past Skyler and I .
‘’ Oh Mila , open a portal for your dear brothers, would you? ‘’ Durion said, looking back at me .
I walked towards him and Ace and I grabbed my stele and I created the portal using a portal rune . Ace and Durion took one last look at me before they entered the portal and left us behind . The portal closed and I looked back to see Sellion speaking with Skyler and Locien ,but the Airion guy was looking at me with interest . To annoy the vampire even more , I just mouthed a ‘’What ‘’ towards him before I made my way towards Skyler . I placed my stele back into my sheath and I looked up again at Sellion who had said that he would show us to our rooms and around the estate .
