Hidden inside the clouds, the king meditated. With eyes closed and a newborn clutched on his side, he thought of ways how to escape the Amuns pursuing them. But their enemies are too fast for them.
A moon scythe whirled towards them. The king was able to deflect it but Hirel appeared before the scythe. The latter attacked him at a blinding speed. With his other hand holding an infant, he was not able to keep up. Blood trickled from the cuts brought by each of his enemy's attacks.
To avoid further damage, he gathered the clouds surrounding them. The clouds swirled and formed into a huge eagle. Hirel was swept with a flap of its wings.
"The famed haribon? Interesting!" he said as he watched the huge bird fly past him. With a whistle, he summoned his bakulaw and pursued the king.
To his surprise, the haribon turned and wrapped its wings around him. The king, along with the huge bird turned to thousands of Eloi's circle that lit the midnight sky. The magical circles formed a huge sphere that traped Hirel and his beast.
The boy wrapped in golden cloth fell beneath them.
"What a disappointment," he said as he teleported towards his scythe that was swirling above the spherical cage.
"What about the boy?" the elders asked as they descended towards him.
"It will survive, no doubt about that."
"Should we pursue him? The Rajah might punish us for this."
"Don't fret about it. A king without a kingdom is an easy task."
"As you wish, master Hirel."
"And do not call me by that disgusting Eloi name again. My name is Kraal!"
