aptain Garson hurried down to another room within the officer's deck. He banged on the door until it was opened.
"Cap'n?" murmured the man who answered.
He wiped at his eyes as he yawned.
"See to the woman in my room," Captain Garson commanded.
The man stared for a moment as he tried to wake from his nap.
"Woman?" he wondered.
Captain Garson loudly huffed.
"You've slept through everything?" he asked in disbelief. "A man brought a woman as a gift to me this morning."
"I see," the man replied but still stared curiously.
"Care for her as you must but remember that she's mine," Captain Garson warned.
"Aye, Cap'n," he replied with a nod.
As Captain Garson turned to walk away, he stopped and glanced back.
"Ronan," he said in a softer voice.
"Yes, Cap'n?" Ronan replied, the calm tone of their stern captain making him all the more curious.
"Be respectful of her," Captain Garson ordered before hurrying off toward the main deck.
"A... aye, Cap'n," he replied in awe.
