Siamak Azmi

May 11, 2022

Siamak Azmi was born in 1972 in Iran; Kermanshah. Siamak started his artistic journey in earnest in 1990. In his first professional appearance in the solo exhibition of Seyhoun Gallery, in 2014, he was well received by the audience. After that, he held two other solo exhibitions in a row at the Vali Art Gallery in Tehran. Since then, he has exhibited his works in more than a dozen international solo and group exhibitions. Siamak Azmi's selected artworks have been publicly exhibited at Art Fair in London, Milan and Ankara, and his works also have been sold in three recent Iranian-Tehran contemporary art auctions. His mastery of oil paints and exclusively the combination of various and transparent colors, shows his profession in presenting creative spaces. For example, he used the same technique to create a collection called Dolls, which attracted the attention of audiences and art critics. The cartoon (western) characters in these paintings were introduced as old but familiar, fascinating but challenging characters that represented his attempt to portray human beings as objects and toys. Siamak tries not only to provide a beautiful space with its artistic meaning but also to be able to convey social and contemporary concepts. In the same collection, he informs the audience about the contemporary world, which is full of pluralism, by repetitively repeating the puppets. Using various forms and positive and negative atmospheres, he has represented a unique composition that, in addition to congestion and cohesion, shows a unity that is reminiscent of art in Iranian carpets. In another series, The Kings of The Null Territory, he created fictional yet familiar characters who, in the confusion of the contemporary world, seek to show off their power and boast to others. Using unbalanced forms, he created characters who not only have anger and bewilderment on their faces but who seem to want to deceive themselves and society on an unconventional and unwanted server. The interesting fact is that while being a dark concept, the paintings have a pleasant and attractive atmosphere and do not make the audience sad. The art of Simak Azmi is to present challenging social concepts to the audience in an attractive and beautiful composition.

ERAN Gallery established in 2016 is a showcase representing the art of Iranian artists in North America. As the only available gallery for Iranian contemporary, fine art, we aim to introduce the artists and their crafts and art in Canada, aiming to fame them globally.
We believe that the digital space is invaluable for bringing transparency and equity to the art market.
Providing fine arts in different categories such as calligraphy, visual, contemporary art, and sculptures made by famous Persian Artists like Nasser ovissi, Wahed Khakdan, Ayoub Emdadian, Bita Vakili, and Flora Feizbakhsh, Hoorad Gorji, Vahid Chamani, and more. Eran Art Gallery remains committed to excellence in advertising and presenting exceptional contemporary fine art.

In presenting artists here, we also hope to allow art lovers and collectors alike to explore Persian new artistic horizons, embrace the cultures, and be inspired by the works of talented artists that they would never have come across if it wasn't for Eran Gallery. For so, Eran gallery has run two separate galleries, one is focused on Fine Art, and the other represents Artifacts.

Here mention that as Eran Gallery is a site for introducing fine arts and masterpieces made by gifted artists, its second aim is to promote the arts from Iran and internationally. Aimed at creating interactions between artists who love art and beauty, ERAN Galley hopes and will hopefully manage to stabilize the high status of decorative and applied art, introduce the rich historical and cultural background of this region's art to the North Americans, and as well to the art lovers around the world.
