Chapter:5

Finding the Anarch

"So you think he or she was present at the crime scene?" Jonas express with this hand on his chin thinking.

"Maybe, but one thing's for sure we have to go see that resident."

"Should we head back now?"

"Tomorrow, I need rest." I said looking like I had seen the literal abyss.

"Alright your call then." (Man I feel bad, just imagine the messed up shit he's seen because of that ability especially with this case, it's enough to drive anyone insane, still at least he can make out the face and expressions of the ones involved might save him the nightmares. "Hey, want me to take the wheel?"

"Sure." I said stopping the car.

17 minutes later Jonas had driven the two of us to my green house in the suburbs area.

"Oi Smith we're here." Jonas had park the car and had tapped me on my shoulder to wake me.

"{Yawn} All right time to see the wife and kids." I mention unbuckling my seat belt.

"Don't mind if I tag along? I want to see how everyone's doing." Jonas ask tapping my shoulder with his elbow.

"Why not, you are family."

As we were chatting while walking away from the car, two of my kids had been running towards us.

"Dad!"

"Daddy!"

They both yell running with joy to see my return.

"Hey!" Said by me as I bent down towards them.

"Daddy your finally back!" Lisa stat while hugging me.

"Is that Jonesy too?!" Tommy excitingly mention while looking over at him.

"Hey buddy uncle Jonesy here!" Jonas pat Tommy on his head as he said that.

"Tommy, Lisa, where's Marvin?" I ask.

He's up at the front with mom!" Tommy said pointing towards them at the front door.

Upon seeing them Marvin and Jessica didn't look the most excited to see me meaning I was in trouble.

"{Sigh} better make my way over or they'll really let me have it." I walk over feeling like I was really going to feel the wrath of those two.

"Come on kids, let's follow!" Said by Jonas as him, Tommy and Lisa follow.

"Honey, Marvin I'm back." As I said that I couldn't help but feel slight hesitation.

"Hmph." Jessica said Ashley brush her hair and walk back to the side.

"Ah….." I express spaced out.

"Welcome back old man." Marvin let out looking irritated as Jessica.

"Marvin that's no way to talk to your pop." Jonas had back me up on that.

"Yeah? Well my pop is hardly ever around these days, don't blame me if I feel a little distant about it." Marvin turn his head away from me.

"{Sigh}" while I had the most exhaust look on my face but I knew what I had to do.

"Ok what do you want?" 

"Hehe, another race car!" Marvin stated placing up two fingers of a peace sign.

"Hey I want one too!" Tommy yells.

"Can I have another doll house?!" Same for Lisa.

"Just my luck when it comes to my wallet…" I felt so defeated with my head down, my poor wallet.

(Yikes having a family sure can be a kick in the ass, oh well rest in peace Smith's wallet.) Jonas thought praying for his friend.

"All right everyone I'll get everything situated, let's just go back inside so I can talk to your mother."

"Ok!" The kids agreed with me.

Meanwhile In the house kitchen as I was present along with Jessica who was washing the dishes.
