"It's lucky that Delila found me,"
Jacob was completely in his head, as she had told him the story, thier soupmate connection had sucked him into Eves vivid memories, reliving the moments as if they were his own. His fists were balled, he wanted to punch something, to break something. He hated that someone thought they could hurt his Eve like that. He suddenly wished he'd done worse to the ones he caught making fun of Eve.
"I'm so sorry," he gazed at Eve sadly, intertwining his fingers with hers. "I wish i was there, why didn't you reach out for me."
"Reach out?" She asked confused, titling her head to the side.
"With the soulmate bond,"
"Oh, right, i forgot about that," she sighed looking away, "besides i wouldn't want you see me like that,"
Jacob gently placed his his right habd on his chin, turning her face back to him. "I'm your soulmate, i want to always help you."
"Easy said then done," she muttered, "you can't honestly be attracted to me after telling you all of this,"
He smiled doubtfully at her with loving eyes, "I've been in your mind Eve, nothing is going to convice me loving you is a bad idea,"
She snorted, "I'm pretty sure my mum could do that,"
Jacob stick away a stray hair behind her ear, "i wish you could see how perfect you are."
Eve rolled her eyes, "That's just the bond talking."
Jacob began to grin, wriggling his eyebrows, "is it?"
Eve bit her lips, driving Jacob mad, holding back the urge to do all things he wanted to fo with her, but he settled for a passion filled kiss, which turned into a hot wet snog.
Jacob teased at Eves lower lip, as he nibbed at her delicate fresh, his tounge tenderly cearsed the gap to her mouth, Eves low moans, enticed Jacob further, but had to remind himself to go slower. Eve clutched onto his waist as they eased down to lay on her sheets. He moved his lips away from hers, tracing down to her jaws and neck, lowing the flush of pink to her olive skin, "goddess, your beautiful." He murmured against her skin, biting gently just above the moulds of her breasts. Eve roamed her hands along his chest up to his shoulders.
But they stop as soon as a loud sound tumbled put from the lounge.
"FATHER I ALREADY TOLD YOU I DON'T WANT TO MOVE TO SOMEWHERE BIGGER!"
"Did i mention that my grandad i never knew is riund for dinner." Eve said breathlessly,
"No, i don't think you."
"DAD STOP SEARCHING FOR FLATS ON MY LAPTOP!"
"They had a strained relationship. I think,"
Jacob had stayed for the rest of night, laying beside eve as they talked for the whole evening, whilst Jacob left briefly to go to the bathroom, he overheard Eve's granddad and mum talking.
"I don't know what to do, father," Feya sighed, "i feel like it's getting worse and she dosen't tell me about it,"
"I can have a word with the school,"
"No," Feya gritted, "they won't do shit, I've gone and complained to that dumbfuck headmaster a million times and he does nothing, none of her teachers care."
"Then i stall make sure they do," his words took on an old command that complied and scared a person.
"I just want her to be happy. Nothing I do is enough."
"You've done your best."
It was quiet for a moment, "I'm not moving into your place father. It'd be too much for her. I haven't told her anything, she'd-"
"You're my heir, and I want us to be a family again."
"That ended the day Edmar died."
Eves grand father sighed, "think about it, darling. You're just like your mother, stuborn to a fault."
Jacob moved away knowing he heard all too much, though he wondered what they had meant by things they had kept from Eve. He returned to her bedroom, seeing her dresses in her pjammers, he stripped down to his boxers, crawling into bed, pulling Eve against himself cuddling her till they both fell asleep. Not all aware by the bombardment of texts from his dad, that started normal and ended batshit insane.
