- Sage: teaches students about spells for witches and making potions (wears yellow uniforms)

- Elemental: trains students to master elemental based magic or magic that rely on the natural elements (wears green uniforms)

- Sentiment: trains students on making glamours/illusions, animation on the inanimate and magic transformations (wears light pink uniforms)

- Oracle: trains students in spatial magic and communicating and summoning spirits (wears purple uniforms)

- Wilderness: trains students on taming and teaming up with wildlife (wears orange uniforms)

Students are allowed to take on multiple covens, but they're encouraged to stick with two, so they won't have messed up schedules. There are three classes you take for mastering powers, for example, Oracle I (basics), Oracle II, and Oracle III, usually for students who are already ahead a year, they either focus on the coven or take a class that teaches them more on other types of magic and more on the magic they chose.

Kairo, in a pink uniform underneath his skull hoodie, walks to the steps to the entrance of Astral Rose High. Two other kids run up to him. "Aki!", the twins said in unison. European-Asian twins, Marinette and Ram Haulene. Marinette with dark blue, silky hair in a long ponytail, wearing a green uniform and denim shorts. Ram with black hair in a shorter low fade than Kairo's, the quiet one, wearing a green uniform but also is in the Wilderness coven. They call Kairo "Aki".

"Hey, twins", Kairo says, "How was Europe?"

"Boring", Marinette responded. "All we did was take hikes and took pictures of cities."

"So boring", Ram added.

"Really?", Aki said.

Marinette noticed the pink shirt underneath Kairo's hoodie. "I knew it! I knew you'd apply for Sentiment coven.

"Yeah, and the Oracle coven, but you know, purple..."

"You still hate purple", Ram said.

"I just don't think it'll look nice on me but purple is nice sometimes", Aki responded.

Marinette checks her phone. "We should go in, first period starts in five minutes." Ram and Kairo agreed, so they went up the steps and entered Astral Rose.

Marinette, Ram, and Kairo reach the second floor and as they're coming up, they see a blonde boy with perfect hair, blue eyes, in a white hoodie standing alone by some lockers checking his phone consistently and seems lost.

Marinette smirks and says, "Maybe you should help him."

Aki responds, "Really, this is how I met Jax. W-what if it happens again?"

"It won't, sometimes when you see a dream guy at the right time, you just gotta go for it", Ram says.

"Yeah, but you fell for me. I'm not a dream guy", Kairo says.

Marinette laughs.

The lost boy overhears them and starts walking over. Marinette and Ram run off. Kairo is nervous and looks around him, but he doesn't know where to go, considering every possibility as the boy gets closer and closer. When he finally reaches them all he says is, "Hi."
