Noah POV.

My body feels heavy and I can hear May and Theodore's voices, but it's inaudible and far.

Suddenly everything is dark and I can hear the sound of footsteps. "Theo...?"

"What?" His tone was cold and dry.

"Why are you angry? D-Did I do something wrong...?"

"You...!" Theo marched towards me squeezing my shoulders tight. "You're the reason I'm miserable! I regret marrying you! You're useless and weak, disappear out of my sight!"

"I...I--"

"I... I...! Bullshit, this is all you can say." He let go of my shoulders and walked away. No way... Th-This has to be a nightmare! Theo would never say that!

"Are you sure?" A sound whispered behind me. I turned around to see a person that resembles me but has red hair and blue eyes. 

"Who--"

"Am I...? I'm you, but the better version, I resemble our family-- a true Evermoon, I'm more confident, stronger, the perfect fit for Theodore. He doesn't need a weakling like you by his side." 

"No, I--"

"He doesn't love you! It was him Noah! It was him who handed you that apple, it was him who poisoned you! Ahahahaha!"

"No! Theo-- My husband is not such a man!"

I jolted up from my nightmares and scanned the room around me as I pant hard, my hands were shaking, I'm sweating bullets, and I feel a little dizzy. I try to leave the bed, but my body is too exhausted. "Noah...?" I heard Theodore's voice, I was in such panic mode that I didn't realize Theodore was asleep by my side. I wanted to reply to him, but I was so scared that I mustered my courage and grabbed his shoulders. 

"H-Ho... Ney... I... Be good... Better... So... Don't leave me!" I am so shaken that I can't form a proper sentence. As Theodore heard my plea he jolted up and then hugged me tightly.

"Oh my God, you're awake! Thank Amaterasu!" Whoa, this is the first time I hear Theo calls the lord's name. "My love... Noah...! Is this real or a dream?"

"It's real... I'm here." That's right, this is reality... This is my real Theo. "I love you darling."

"Me too... I love you so much." Theodore pulled away and then kissed my forehead then cheeks and lips. "B-But how did this happen? You were poisoned and we couldn't find the source of the poison to create an antidote."

"How long was I out?"

"Three days, but that doesn't matter, what matters is that you're awake."

"Darling, I'm hungry."

"O-Oh... Of course, you are, I'll get it ready right away." Theodore stood up, but before I realized it I held the hem of his shirt. "Is something wrong love?"

"Don't leave!" Maybe because of the nightmare I had, my hands were still shaking and I do not wish to part ways with him. Theodore sighed then carried me princess-style.

"Now you can eat and I won't leave you." I giggled and wrapped my arms around his neck.

We arrived at the dining hall. It was pretty dark so no one was around, we snuck to the kitchen, and grabbed a few snacks and leftover meals. Just as my husband was about to set me on the chair I shook my head and held him tighter. "I wanna stay like this."

"My spoiled prince, what do I do with you~?" Theodore giggled then put me on his lap. "If you keep acting cute like this my heart won't take it." I ignored him as I wolfed down the food in front of me. I am seriously starving!

Once we finished eating, we sat silently as we let our stomachs digest some of the food we had. That felt good! "Darling look at my stomach, I'm pregnant, I have baby food inside me." I said as I poked my belly. Theodore laughed and then play along.

"Who's the father?!" Theo asked in a shocked yet teasing manner.

"It's... It's yours! Take responsibility!"

"Of course, I will! Whatever you need love! Is it a boy or a girl?"

"I don't know yet, I just got pregnant!" We both burst out laughing like a bunch of maniacs.

"But seriously love... Do you want children?"

"I don't know, do you want them Theo?"

"Hmm... A cute child that resembles you is not a bad idea, too bad I can't give you a baby, love, I do want a child, but only if we're both ready to raise them."

"I-I want a child too!"

"Great then maybe when I insured your safety we can adopt one!"

"Okay!"

"Speaking of your safety... Noah, you were poisoned, care tell me if you know how that happened?"

"The last thing I remember was that we were in the garden, I was waiting for you then I ate--" The apple you gave me!

"What did you eat?" I couldn't tell him the truth. It's not because I doubted Theo's feelings, I worry that he might beat himself over it.

"I don't remember." I lied... I lied to the love of my life. This is the first time I have ever done it, he believed me, Theo trusts me to the point that he won't question or doubt my words. I feel a bitter taste in my mouth for lying to him.

"It's okay if you don't remember... Though how did you recover from the poisoning?"

"It got to be the fact we're fed poison at a young age to build immunity against it."

"What?! They feed you poison?!"

"Only a small dosage, all my siblings, including Zoe go through that."

"That's messed up."

"Not really, this is normal when you're born royalty, I don't understand why you think it's messed up."

"That's not what I meant, I mean it's messed up for someone to try to harm the royal family."

"Yeah well... Being a prince and all come with a price." Theodore pat my head gently, he lift up my chin and then kissed my lips ever so sweetly.

"I'm here now and I promise that I'll protect you from any harm." I hugged Theodore close then I grind myself against him. "N-Noah...?"

"Won't you touch me more?" I asked as I place his hand on my chest.

"Noah...!" Theodore pushed me down on the table then his fevered gaze met mine. "Are you sure you want this? Are you not tired?"

"I'm good so hurry up and embrace me!" My husband took out our members and rubbed them against one another as he unbuttoned my shirt exposing my hardened nipples.

"Hah...! D-Darling...! M-More there! There...!" I couldn't take it anymore so I pushed him away and then switched our positions. I went on top of him and then kissed him passionately as I prep myself down.

"You know I can dress myself up, are you not cold?"

"Nah, I'm good, this kind of temperature is nothing compared to Whitenight's weather during the night." My husband said as we left the dining hall.

"I went to Eiko and Wisteria, but I have never been to Whitenight, what is it like?" I asked as I link my arms around Theodore's arm.

"I mentioned the weather to you in my lett-- nevermind, ahem, the weather in Whitenight is really cool during the day, but freezing cold at night, you have to wear three layers just to feel a little warm, in your case maybe six layers and me holding you the whole trip~"

"Pfft... Hehe... I'd like to go to so many places with you one day."

"By the way, I have never been to Wisteria... What does it look like?"

"Wisteria is similar to Evermoon, it has lots of greenery and nice weather, but it's larger than Evermoon and their culture is very rich, I like their food a lot, my favorite dish is Ma Po Tofu."

"What's that?"

"It's tofu mixed with spicy sauces...?? Something like that, I like it a lot."

"Hm... I want to eat it with you one day."

"Yay... Something to add to our bucket list."

Once we reached our bedroom, we chatted some more and then went to sleep.

The next day...

Both Theodore and I woke up late in the afternoon and had a light brunch. After that, we went to see May who looked like she didn't sleep for days. She was shocked by recovery and delighted at the same time.
