Chapter 2

Complete darkness, “Don't say me I died of heartbreak” thought Minera, floating on air. Out of nowhere she felt a chilling wind attacking her from front. It gradually got stronger and stronger. The wind wasn’t letting Minera to open her eyes, she was blocking her face with her hands. A glimpse of light appears from a far. The light brightened and covered the whole surrounding in a second. Minera thought she'd gotten blind. She was struggling to open her eyes, so she had to blink continuously. It was blurry, but she did notice she was about to see something. She is awake now, looking around. She knew she was in laying position. It was so dizzy while she was trying to sit up, that’s when she felt hands touching her shoulders, and a female silhouette. Her voice was faint at first, it demanded time for Minera to be able to clearly listen to her.

The woman seemed worried, “Mylady, are you alright? How are you feeling right now? Is it still hurting? Let me see.”

Minera realizes that she is not at the same place she dwells because of the room decor and clothings. She only asked “What happened to me?”.

The woman “You fainted because you are weak. Please, let me know what you want. I'll do it for sure”.

Minera had so many questions about who she is, where she is or what she is doing here, so she said “I think I hit my head. If you are my relative or anyone close, I want to apologize but I can’t recognize anything or anyone.”

The woman went super shocked. “I’m dead! I’m dead! I am actually turning to a corpse!” She kneeled to Minera and begged “ Please, Mylady, tell me you are joking”.

Minera helped her to get up and placed her next to herself. The woman was actually expecting her to say that she was joking, but no, she shook her head. The woman clenched her head, bending into depression.

In a moment the woman raised her head that fast, startling Minera.

Woman, “ You are Princess Nia. wife of The Great Khan Ter, the ruler of Khanate Venma. I am your servant, Mek. I have been serving you for two years, since you married the Khan when you turned 15.”

“Did you just say that I am married and I am a princess?” asked ‘Nia’ in surprise. 

- Yes you are, said Mek.

- Why did I faint?

- You were always as weak and timid as I can remember you. You don't eat much either, causing you to be this thin. Now such a thing has happened. How can you stand in the harem? They will eat you alive!

- Who are you talking about?

- Khan’s other wives, of course. Even though you are living well until today, it's all thanks to your birth family reputation that no one can touch you yet. I am worried that someone might use this situation to get rid of you if they notice.

- Didn’t you say that I am married? How come my “husband” wouldn’t do anything against such a threat towards me?

- Pardon me Mylady, this servant could seem rude, however, you are all alone in the harem for years. I am not aware of the reason, but Khan does not call or pay any visit to you if there are no very special occasions.

Inside, Nia felt at ease, because she had just now come to this world and an unmarried woman like her in her previous life wouldn’t be able to accept such surprises given by “The God of Isekai ''. All of sudden, the moment of silence was disturbed by the sound of Nia’s starving stomach. She blushed because of the awkwardness.

- Let me bring your meal Mylady, said Mek standing up.

- No, wait! I want to go out. Could you help me dress up?

- Yes, Mylady.

Mek’s smile somehow warmed Nia’s heart. She felt lucky to meet such a respecting person as soon as she was reborn. While the servant was brushing her hair, she zoned out, trying to analyze what exactly happened to her and figure out why it happened. “What an embarrassment that I died because of breaking up with such a jerk. I might be the only one who died of heartbreak and reincarnated this way.”

Jul and Minera were in a relationship for only a year. He was always good to everyone. They didn’t have fights in their relationship. She accepted his past, accepted that she wasn’t his first girlfriend. They went to the same University. They would meet up whenever they both were free. Mostly, Jul had errands, which sometimes their date would get canceled from time to time. Minera couldn't be clingy, she taught herself patience. “He couldn’t appreciate my efforts, he doesn’t deserve my forgiveness. He is an ungrateful, shameful person to me now.” She suddenly enlightened, “She somehow seemed familiar. She was his ex! How he dared such betrayal! I wish she could catch him and make him pay for all the pain he caused. If she is destined to be with Jul, let her be the only one. I wish them happiness. Anyway, what could I do standing in an unfamiliar world?!”

- It’s the time, Mylady.

Nia contained her attention, and saw herself in such traditional clothes the first time. She really likes the patterns on the cloth. Such rare, pretty, not as comfortable as modern casual clothes she used to wear, but she actually likes them.

- Alright, let’s go to discover the new world.

They stepped out of the room to the kitchen.
