I didn't want this to happen

Complete darkness, “Don't say me I died of a heartbreak” thought Minera, floating in the air. Out of nowhere, she felt a chilling, sharp wind attacking her from the front. It gradually got stronger and stronger. The wind wasn’t letting Minera open her eyes, she was blocking her face with her hands while fighting for her life. A glimpse of light appears from afar. The light brightened, spreading, covering the whole surrounding in a moment. Minera thought she'd gotten blind. She was struggling to open her eyes, so she had to blink several times. It was blurry, but she did notice she was about to see something unexpected. She is awake now, looking around. She knew she was in a lying position. She was so dizzy while trying to sit up that she felt hands touching her shoulders and a female silhouette appeared. Her voice was very faint at first, it demanded time for Minera to be able to clearly listen to her.

The woman seemed worried, “Mylady, are you alright? How are you feeling right now? Is it still hurting? Let me see.”

Minera realizes that she is not in the same place she dwells because of the room's decor and clothing. She only asked “What happened to me?”.

The woman “You fainted because you are weak. Please, let me know what you want. I'll do it for sure”.

Minera had so many questions about who she is, where she is or what she is doing here, so she said “I think I hit my head. If you are my relative or anyone close, I want to apologize but I can’t recognize anything or anyone.” The woman went super shocked. “I’m dead! I’m dead! I am actually turning to a corpse!” She kneeled to Minera and begged, “ Please, Mylady, tell me you are joking”.

Minera helped her to get up and let her take a seat beside her. The woman was actually expecting her to say that she was joking, but no, she shook her head. The woman clenched her head, bending into depression. In a moment, the woman raised her head that fast, startling Minera.

Woman, “ You are Princess Nia. wife of The Great Khan Ter, the ruler of the Khanate Venma. I am your servant, Mek. I have been serving you for two years, since you married to the Khan when you turned 15.”

“Did you just say that I am married and I am a princess?” asked ‘Nia’ in surprise. 

- Yes you are.

- Why did I faint?

- You were always as weak and timid as I can remember you. You don't eat much either, causing you to be this thin. Now such a thing has happened. How can you stand in the harem? They will eat you alive!

- Who are you talking about?

- Khan’s other wives, of course. Even though you are living well until today, it's all thanks to your birth family's reputation that no one can lay their hands on you yet. I am worried, someone might use this situation to get rid of you if they notice the change.

Mek’s smile somehow warmed Nia’s heart. She felt lucky to meet such a respectful person as soon as she was "reborn". While the servant was brushing her hair, she zoned out, trying to analyze what exactly had happened to her and figure out why it happened. “What an embarrassment that I died because of breaking up with such a jerk. I might be the only one who died of heartbreak and reincarnated this way.”

Jul and Minera were in a relationship for only eight months. He always treated everyone well. They didn’t have arguments or fights in their relationship. Nia collected her attention, and saw herself in such traditional clothes for the first time. She really likes the patterns on the cloth. Such rare, pretty, not as comfortable as modern casual clothes she usually wore, but she actually likes them.
