Another year has gone by, and tomorrow will mark the 4 year anniversary of RORY!! I want to give a huge thank you to everyone who has been reading, whether you've been here since the first upload or just started reading today. We've crossed the 10k threshold in the last year which is amazing, and reading everyone's comments on each update always makes me smile when I'm down.
Life has gotten busy for me since I first started working on RORY - at the time, I had just graduated college and was still unsure what I wanted to pursue as a career in the arts. I started RORY as a passion project, with no expectations of any kind besides something to help me practice comic art. Fast forward to 4 years later, and now I'm lucky enough to be able to work on comics as a major part of my career! It's all thanks to RORY that I've come to love comics so much, and thanks to the encouragement of everyone who has supported me along the way.
Through it all, RORY has remained a passion project for me that I do because I love making it, and admittedly that has led to slower updates on my end as life has gotten busier for me. But I'm still determined to make each page something I'm proud of no matter how long it takes, and to tell you guys the story I've been working on for 4 years now in its entirety! Thank you for your patience and understanding, it means a lot to me 🥰
Also a big thank you to those of you who have checked out the official RORY merch available in the Tapas merch shop!!
Aww, Congratulations Author Zack (Vampbyte)! 👏☺️ Look forward to the continuation of this psychological drama, and the answer to the ultimate question as to what really happened to Rory, and if he ever makes it O u T of the desperate situation he is in! 🙏🥺
A cynical male model named Rory just wants to get famous, look good, and make money. He gets the opportunity to do just that when he comes into contact with the elusive and renowned photographer, Roger Van Dijk, who is interested in making Rory the subject of his magnum opus. This dream come true quickly turns into a nightmare, however, as Roger's artistic vision turns into something much, much stranger.
