What happened to her who had been used by those barbarians worse than monsters?
What of them?
Hunting for eight suns until they returned with fresh meat only to find her people dead!
Tears tinged in pink ran the length of her earth-toned skin. Those beautiful leaf-shaped eyes stared up at the heavens as she roared for answers.
In her mind, she begged the gods—Sah!
Why had they not been avenged?
Those who worshipped them in everything?
Why is it that the god of death and decay was the one who stepped forward offering help when she had asked for vengeance? Only to be bound by the others? Leaving her hapless? wondering what had she ever done to be treated as an abomination?
Her mind was entombed in grief and chaos. Images repeated as if stuck within her mind.
A massive bolt was released; white wings spread and a screech was heard. She twisted her head in search of her bonded bird and emitted a piteous howl.
"Bkwek! (No!)" Her words were falsely pronounced in her effort. Her eyes widened, pupils dilating from shock. Hearts stuttering in her chest.
(Boom! Boom!) resounding in her ears.
As if to say, “But it was too late.”
The massive bird was struck, turning black, forced to fall from the sky. Sprinting forward she approached the magnificent bird and gathered its massive head in her arms, holding the beast which had grown up and bonded with her. She could not help but to weep.
All she held close to her hearts were struck down.
What did they ever do?
Is it because they worshipped Lady Kosmah and not the main gods?
When they suffered, what did these gods do?
Begged?
Pleaded?
Prayed..?
Where were they?
When those from a far off tribe slaughtered her entire clan, where were the gods?
God of death, God of sorrow! God of pain!
Those were the gods who answered. The gods who lent her strength when all she wanted was to die.
Vengeance!
The once beautiful bird she held dear rose suddenly, spreading its burnt wings.
Bolts of lightning followed again, striking first it and then her.
She rushed towards her bonded bird and held it firm.
They can die together.
She does not want to be lonely. Holding her companion close as it changed into a male.
‘So it was true. A true bonded can shift.’
Her tears fell further as they continued to attack just as something inside her snapped.
‘Enough!’
Gripping her weapon, she threw it. Her gaze became fierce. The once long white hair slowly turned red. The whites of her eyes turned black while the irises turned a red so bright that they glowed. The gods paused, but those who feared and hated this lower species attacked together.
Just then a bolt of lightning appeared and connected with the earth, shattering, releasing a resounding boom and clearing the sky to show around 1...5...20...30 gods gathering power, merging it to form an extremely powerful bolt in order to obliterate this abomination.
Her gaze was firm. The sky boomed again. She made a slight move. The gods watching on felt their beings tremble in disbelieving fear at the shape that suddenly appeared before her.
Her mouth parted, not to release a howl, but a hissing shriek. The sound entered their flesh-and-blood bodies, forcing them to still, unable to move. Eyes widened, thinking so many things simultaneously that their minds became unstable.
So many regrets, but they were of one mind: Kill her before she became powerful. They should—
Their thoughts were cut off suddenly as she called upon her weapon to attack once again.
The first few fell, but she continued attacking before chaos ensued and the world shook, groaning from the constant onslaught.
That Sun—the heavens—imploded; the world shuddered, groaned and collapsed.
Within universe 7 Galaxy 176, world 3 fell, and all the domains connected to it did too.
It is said that the cores known as gods were killed off.
This led to the destabilization of Galaxy 176, which could not react in time, and so it died instantly, ceasing to exist. The universe 7, feeling the backlash, was said to have received internal injuries and fell into a rejuvenating slumber.
As for the one who started this?
It is unknown.
The remaining gods watched on, feeling for the first time the dark emotions: loss, despair, and defeat. They wished to attack once more, but so many had fallen, forcing them to only stare with hate and the need for vengeance. As for the woman who had been left to taste utter loneliness? The woman retracted her gaze, parted the space and stepped in.
Surrounded by the vast darkness, she was engulfed. Blood spilt from between her lips, dripping down her chin to drop into the yawning darkness. The fragile body she dwelled within slowly collapsed, the power within her primordial soul rioting. Knees giving out, she fell on her knees, then on her hands; her head bowed as the pain continued to riot throughout her entire being. She had used too much power fighting them.
She could no longer stand aside as the gods wiped them out. She felt that their deaths would have been in vain if she had allowed them to live.
She hated the gods, hated them for not helping. Hated them for allowing them to suffer unjustly!
Why when they believed in them wholeheartedly would they abandon them?
Is it because they had worshipped another deity?
What have they done for them as a whole?
How could they be worthy of continual worship?
The woman shook her head, blood spilling from her eyes like tears, staining her richly toned skin. She looked hauntingly beautiful. She questioned in her mind almost ceaselessly, being left with pure confusion.
She could not understand.
