“Fresh, where is detention?” I asked as I walked in the hall. “Yuh, it’s next to Mr. evergreen’s room broski. But why do ya need to know dude?” he said, stopping on his skateboard. “Oh? I have detention.” I said. “YOU HAVE DETENTION?! INK THOMPSON?!” Fresh shouted everyone gasped and looked at me. I grunted. “Fresh! Not so loud, okay? Yes, I have detention.” I said to him, “Sorry broski!” Fresh laughed apologetically. I headed over to detention not knowing what to expect. As I got closer, I could hear a noise. It sounded like…yelling? And screaming and fighting. “I’m in for a treat…” I muttered before opening the door. The room went quiet which scared me a little. I looked around. Why did everyone in here look like they could murder someone?! “I think you got the wrong room, Thompson.” Nightmare said. “N-no…I have detention…” I muttered, slowly making my way into the room. He raised his non-existent eyebrows and so did everyone else. “Oh really?” he said, walking towards me. I swallowed and nodded my head. “S-so…what do you guys do in here?” I asked backing up. “Fight. I’ve been meaning to fight you for a while now Ink,” he said as his gangster friends started corning me. This was a bad idea. I should’ve listened to Dream! “W-what? Why me?” I asked. “Simple! You think you’re such a perfect little angel! Getting the best grades, friends with everyone, and the teachers’ pet! Well, we all know you are just some stuck up brat who would be nothing without your friends!” Nightmare growled at me. I knew who I was. I wasn’t going to listen to Nightmare telling me something I wasn’t though. I slowly grabbed onto Broomie. Nightmare snorted and then laughed. “What do you think that’s going to do?” he asked. I wacked him in the head with Broomie and made a run for the window. “H–GET HIM!” Nightmare yelled rubbing his head. One of them, Undyne, grabbed me by the arm. I tried to get out of her grip but man was she strong! Horror and some other people came over and helped Undyne keep me in place. This was such a bad idea! They wouldn’t kill me…right? Nightmare stood in front of me, with a smirk plastered on his face. “Well, Ink. What am I going to do with you? I could pluck your eyes right from their sockets. I could use my handy little tentacles here to rip your bones out one by one, or we could just continuously punch, kick, and hit you until you bleed out.” he said to me. I tried to move but I struggled. “The teacher is coming!” Epic called out. “Crap!” Nightmare grunted and they all rushed to their seats, dropping me in the process. I managed to sit in a seat before the teacher entered the room. “Now, you can’t just skip detention like that. Do you want it extended?” the teacher said, bringing someone along with them. “...no…” the person following grumbled. I quickly remember the person’s voice as Error! He’s the reason I wanted to come in the first place. I quickly stood up. “HI ERROR!” I called out waving towards him. He looked over at me and stared. “INK?! WHY ARE YOU HERE?!” he said back, confused. I laughed. “Long story.” I said. He grumbled and looked for somewhere to sit. The only one open was right next to me! “Hiiii Error!” I said to him. “You already said hi…” he said to me. “Oh? I did? Sorry…I have a bad memory…” I laughed. “Whatever…” Error grumbled. “Are you gonna knit?” I asked Error. “I guess.” he replied. “What are you gonna knit?” I asked. “...a pillowcase.” he said. “What color?” I questioned. “Black.” he said. “What are you going to knit?” I asked him. He looked at me. I paused for a second. I slapped my palm over my forehead. “I’m so sorry! I already said that, didn’t I! Haha!” I laughed. He blinked and then looked forward. “Welp, I’m gonna draw.” I said. I took out my sketchbook and thought of something to draw. I looked at Error. He looked so…at ease. He was just happily knitting, looking very focused. He must really like it! Maybe it’s a passion? I decided to draw him. I even had enough time to color it! It looked like one of my best pieces yet! I tapped his shoulder a little too aggressively. He snapped his neck towards me. “Yes, Ink?” he said. “Sorry to bother you, but I drew you! See!” I said, shoving the drawing in his face. “Agh! Okay okay.” he said, taking the sketchbook. His facial expression quickly changed from annoyed to interested. “Woah. You actually drew me? This is amazing Ink…” he muttered. I couldn’t help but blush. For some reason, hearing that my art looked good from Error sounded so…admirable? It’s probably because we just met or something. “Thank you Error! You can keep it if you like!” I said. He nodded and took out the page delicately. “Alright everyone, you are dismissed.” the teacher said. “I’ll see you later Error!” I said. “Um…you too Squid–I mean Ink.” Error said. I snorted. “Squid?” I said. “Yeah…cause you have ink on your face and stuff…” he grunted. I thought. “I’ll think of a nickname for you, Error!” I said heading out. Alrighty. I survived! I just hope Nightmare and his gang aren’t going to come for me now… I thought they were just bullies but it seems like he was ready to kill me! But why? I didn’t do anything to him! I try to be the nicest person I can. I’m so friendly, at least, that’s what I hope. I sighed as I walked down the hall. I left the school building and walked down the sidewalk, heading home. I felt relieved that it was Friday! That meant I could go home and relax.
