The sound of crashing waves and thunder all around us. It felt so real, as if I was there. It did happen, but it was just a vision. I didn't expect it to be so crisp in detail. He looked at me as soon as we came back to reality. "I can't believe this! You actually got the most prestigious message. It seems you were chose to tell a story of this importance. I don't know. I'm shocked." It was clear to see how shaken up he was. He sat down before his legs would give out. "Are you okay?" I was seriously worried about him. He looked as if he would faint. "This never happened before. At least not since the beginning of the association. That was a long time ago." His words came out rushed with anxiety.

"It's that rare?" He nodded. I couldn't tell whether I should be joyful, or fearful. This was never meant to be in human hands. That was the fact of the matter. He didn't seem too concerned with this at the moment. He got up and steadied himself. "I'll have to let the current leader of the asscoiation know about this. Just stay put." He wasn't that old, but he looked frail at the moment. I was worried for his well being. "I'll walk with you. If you do not want me to come in I won't. I can wait outside." He looked at me as if he was insulted to have me offer help. I understood the feeling very well. Once you start getting older you value your independence. But, I just couldn't let him walk alone in this state.

He slowly started to walk. "Come now, you can follow." He motioned to me to get a move on. It was apparent that he needed me as we walked down the hallway. His legs were shaky as he stumbled on. Once we neared towards doorway he told me to wait outside. A few knocks and he was let inside. The elaborate door shutting behind him. I moved as close as I could to the door to listen in on the conversation. I didn't want it too seem obvious that I was so nosy. It had to deal with me anyway. Shouldn't I be included.

Time went by rather slowly. It felt eons had passed when they opened the door. "Come inside." They both looked pale as a ghost. I guess it was a shock to everyone. Not every day do you get to write a story about the gods. The one that gave the orb to us in the first place was also in the vision. It made it more personal. The man behind the desk was rubbing his temples. With a long sigh he said "I wasn't expecting this would ever happen. And I'm more shocked that it was your first day. I'm going to be forthcoming. I never thought you'd get something so important."

That felt like a punch to the gut. After a moment pause he continued. "I did not mean that as an insult. I am sorry. It's just you became a part of the association not too long ago. It's remarkable really. I want you to give this your all. Tell the story as it should be told. Just base the facts." This is where this bothered me. No imagination. Just what you see and no feeling behind it.
