Chapter 12:SC Duo (5/7)

A massive chamber in which was decorated with the heads of felled enemies, down the red carpet leading to a throne, coated in gold and purple dye. Fitted a comfy cushion and backrest, who would sit upon this? The minotaur.

“Hmm all of the confusion out there has cleared up, Rand and Gor must’ve cleaned it up.” Then a draft hit his fur, as he sniffed the air his smile dropped, “Those idiots! They didn’t fuse did they!?” Standing up he walked down the rug, admiring the murals on the walls before opening the doors, with heft they slammed open, he saw the destruction and the long tunnel. Just as he was about to travel down the tunnel he heard something behind him.

“Stop!” suddenly a small hole pierced his chest with a bang, he looked behind himself to see Avie.

“How could a human do this much damage to me?” He said feeling a massive hole in his chest.

Hermes struggles into Avies hospital room covered in blood, he reaches her bed and places his hand on her. He starts funneling astral power into her, she wakes up completely healed and looks down to see Hermes on the floor.

“Hermes!” She grabbed the light kid's body and placed it in bed.

Present

“I won’t put your power to waste Hermes!” She runs in and blitzes the Minotaur, cutting it’s arm, it turns around and grabs her, it throws her on the ground collapsing everything in the area. They both get out of the rubble and rush at each other, they clash fists and avie pulls out her glock, she fires it, the bullet laced with astral power. The minotaur barely dodges and swings its tail to trip up avie, as she’s limbo in the air it punches her face so hard that the clouds part and a magnitude 3 earthquake in the area. She wipes the blood off of her face and prepares a battle stance, suddenly an aura forms around her that breaks the ground then she disappears and reappears behind the minotaur. She shoves her fist through it’s back and out of its chest.
