Kuroo walked into the apartment and it was completely silent. Immediately, he was suspicious. He walked through the house checking each room only to find kenma in the kitchen. This is never a good sign. 

He looked around taking in the damage. No fires. No broken glass. Just alot of mess. Kuroo couldn’t even tell what it was that Kenma was trying to make. He turned to Kenma, who seemed to have given up and was sitting on the table on his phone. (yes, on the table. Kuroo would never understand this man) “How have you survived this long by yourself.” 

Kenma looked up, unsurprised by Kuroo’s sudden appearance. “Who knows. Pretty sure it’s your fault,” he said before returning to his phone.

“What were you even trying to make?” Kuroo would normally be exasperated if it was anyone other than kenma, but he’s known this boy for how long? He knows that Kenma trying to cook anything more than a bowl of that single serve mac n’ cheese you just stick in the microwave would end in disaster. 

When Kenma only shrugged in response he couldn’t help but laugh. “You gonna help me clean this up.”

Kenma rolled his eyes and pocketed his phone before he hopped down from the table, “Obviously.”
