Destruction. Chaos. The fall of The New Allegiance and the invasion of Earth. Year 2059.  Countless warships clouded the sky as its hulking size darkened the battlefield below. The streets of countless cities housing allegiance outposts were flooded with Liberation troopers trading shots with helpless and outnumbered allegiance operators. Numerous allegiance warships would decline straight down from the skies in flames. They eventually sank into the dark blue oceans that surrounded the pacific island south of Singapore, the main headquarters and operator campus of The New Allegiance. In the ongoing warfare on the headquarters, a singular ship flew through the fumes of destruction. An angular light shuttle soared through. It was blacked out with a falcon design for wings. It declined down onto a singular hangar dock that was still standing at the entrance of the allegiance headquarters.

“Incoming!” An operator shouted. The operator armed herself. Mostly made out of weaponised cybernetics, this operator who called herself the Brigadier, transformed her arm into an ion cannon. Beside her was a unit of other operators, all of which used firearms as their primary weapon. The muzzles of their firearms pointed towards the landing light cruiser. The ramp lowered as white smoke emitted from the cooling systems. The silhouette of a dark figure in armour emerged, still clouded from the smoke. Without hesitation, the operators fired on the figure. The bombardment of bullets and ion beams halted when they realised the figure remained completely still even after what seemed like a brutal and merciless execution. As they grew fearful, the figure moved closer. Scattering clicks of metal shells falling onto the metallic floors grew rampant with every step from the figure.

“Screw this!” The Brigadier fired her ion cannon again. The beam shot out right to the figure again. However, a hand reached out. The beam stopped right at the palm of the figure as he began absorbing it. The Brigadier was in awe. Before she could react further, her beam turned from a cyan blue into a royal purple energy beam. The transition overloaded her prosthetics and ended up with an explosion, disintegrating half of her body. As the remains of her body fell, the operators began firing yet another round of bullets. It was then that the smoke had cleared and the dark robes and armour of the Supreme Leader himself was revealed. He began taking a few steps forward to the operators, unaffected by the riddle of bullets. As he was in arm's reach, he unarmed an operator and shot out a beam of energy from his fingertips. The beam travelled from one operator to another, killing them instantly. The beam halted when there was one left. Monarch then threw the firearm in his hands onto the operator’s knees, shattering the operator’s kneecap. The dark king slowly walked to the operator as he was helplessly crawling away. He then held him up with one hand grabbing onto his armour.

“This is absurd! No one is this powerful. Who the hell do you think you are?!” The operator spat onto Monarch’s helm as he commented. In response, Monarch’s visor glowed. The steaming heat from the purple visor evaporated the spit on his helm. He then pulled the operator closer to his face.

“The boundaries of power mean nothing to me, I am Monarch.” As he replied, the operator’s veins across his neck glowed purple. The area Monarch held on looked corrupted. The operator was forced to stare at his visor as his body hardened like a rock and his insides were burned by a purple energy aura. As Monarch released his grip, the operator shattered upon falling. The dust of the remains filled the air momentarily until Monarch walked past it and into the headquarters. As Monarch disappeared into the interiors, countless deployment ships landed at the hangar dock. Troopers flooded out alongside Tariol Operators Omega, Sabre and Ravage. They began scattering as a full on takeover was in motion.

In the metal fortress, there was a garden rooftop. A small plot of greenery protected by glass walls. In the centre of the garden, there was a lady kneeling down. Her eyes closed, damped with tears, as her focus strayed away from the sounds of explosions in the air around her and into herself. She then rested her right palm onto a carved stone that resembled a scabbard. As she opened her eyes, she saw the reflection from a garden tool that stood near the structure. Monarch was behind her, standing there like he was already there all along.

“Come to kill me?” The woman asked, pulling her hands back. Monarch continued his broody silence.

“If not me then…the people running this fortress? What about the people of Earth?”

“Not to that extent.” Monarch replied.

“Oh…not yet.” The woman stood up, turning to Monarch. She stroked her hair back as she revealed herself.

“I know how you bloodlusted tyrants run. Kill and kill without end. You’ll just end up like every other corrupt fucks that run this planet.” Destoria stared right at the visor. Anger fuelled her but she remained composure as she faced off with Monarch.

“And I know how you, Destoria Roxx, run. You fight your cause, not believing what it stands for. A prisoner to your own doing. A beast on a leash.” As Monarch gently replied, it would provoke her. Destoria lost her composure. She then clenched her fists as she began attacking him. She threw punches and kicks but Monarch dodged them. He toyed with her as she released her anger. Monarch then grabbed a jab from her, holding her fist tight.

“Maybe you’re trying to honour someone.”

“You won't get anything from killing me.”

Monarch pulled her fist closer to him as he landed a charged punch right to her. The energy impact would propel her right to the scabbard structure. She landed right onto the rock surface, falling down onto her knees. Before she could pull out her weapons, a devilish hand clenched onto her throat, choking her. Monarch lifted her up as he began suffocating her.

“Why should I kill someone…who is already dead inside?” Monarch stared into Destoria as he held her by his hand. Destoria struggled, her legs waving around as she tried to kick away. Before Monarch attempted to snap her neck, Destoria’s tears made their way out of her eye sockets. It rolled onto his gauntlet. Her legs stopped swaying as she slowly was losing grip of her own life. It was then that made Monarch loosen his grip. Destoria then fell down, gasping for air as she was laid on her side. She grabbed onto Monarch’s leg as she appeared small and helpless. Monarch then kneeled down, resting her chin on her fingers as he pulled her attention to him.

“Why should I kill someone…when I can punish them for their sins?” As Destoria opened her eyes to look at Monarch, Monarch then punched her, knocking her out cold. As he stood up troops entered the area. An escort followed alongside the flood of troops, slowly approaching the garden. They would be greeted with Monarch, Destoria lying unconscious in his arms. The escort broke formation as a scientist emerged.

“She’s all yours, Mr Mile.”

Carter nodded, the escort troopers carrying Destoria from Monarch. The escort began making their way out of the roof. The other troopers began setting up defences and a front. Monarch looked around, viewing the battle in the skies taking place and the troopers mobilising attacks and plans. His view stopped as he looked at the carved scabbard. The light ray from the sun broke through the dark skies as the warships broke formation. It shined down on Monarch, his silhouette covering the scabbard. His visor glow hovered above the name of the scabbard as he read the words carved below it..

Memorial of a dear friend, Orion Hubolt.

The metallic doorshafts opened. It made an awful sound, similar to rusted metal rubbing on each other. It was the doors to an abandoned campus of sorts, claimed by nature. A figure walked down the forested interiors as he made his way into the centre of the building. His leather trench coat swayed as he walked through with a navigator in his gloved hand. He pivoted a corner, facing a main hall room. Monarch can be seen standing, facing the 3-dimensional structure of the Allegiance symbol that stood untouched at the centre of the main hall.

“I assume the rest has yet to arrive?” The figure asked.

“Not yet…It is their first time coming here, rendezvous Barnaby. For us, well…”

“Of course…We were there when our men purged this campus.”

Monarch chuckled.

The figure took steps over the protruding roots of trees that were on the floor as he stood beside the Supreme Leader.

“I believe you have questions, Admiral.”

“With all due respect, sir, I don't see how important this meeting can be to the extent that Earth is deprived of the orbital guardians and blockades.” Admiral Eclion spoke as he, too, looked at the Allegiance symbol.

“I’ve been having premonitions of my past. About the war…about the people that pose a threat to the Front…Everything.”

Eclion turned to Monarch, “It has been 743 Terran days since your last premonition. Shall I make plans that respond to it?” Monarch’s view remained at the symbol as he remained silent momentarily.

“No…I have devised a strategy.”

Eclion looked in confusion.

“It is time…for them to fear my retribution.”
