A small, nagging feeling pestered me in the back of my mind. I was forgetting something. But honestly nothing mattered right now as I watched Tatsuya's every movement. The way his silvery hair fluttered softly with every breath, his aura and his scent was more noticeable and heightened and overwhelmed my senses. I could see his pulse, beating at his throat, his soft pearly skin intoxicating and inviting. An urge to devour him rose from the pit of my stomach and started to wash over me. I was completely out of control of my desires.
Tatsuya sighed softly and his scent wafted over me tenfold with that small movement. I was on the verge of springing forward, when Tatsuya beat me to it, his agility still far surpassing my own. He lunged forward, caught me in a forceful hold behind the neck and slammed my face down into the bed with enough force to nearly break my nose. He pinned me with his weight, which was surprisingly forceful, and I felt the collar of my shirt being pulled down.
I had a newfound vigor and desire to fight back since drinking the blood and started writhing to get out from under him, but to no avail. I felt his cool gentle touch on my neck and shivered with a plethora of emotions, the most overwhelming of them being unhinged desire. I let out a deep growl, acting so unlike I'd ever had before.
Tatsuya pulled the shirt down farther until it was uncomfortably taut against my throat. As I tried to push myself up to get out from under him, I felt him trace around the markings on my neck and down my back between my shoulder blades. He suddenly pressed his cool palm and a warm substance firmly between my shoulder blades and onto what felt like the center of the etched markings on my back.
I felt like I'd been hit by lightning, electricity pulsed through my body and shot through my back where his hand was. My heart pounded erratically as I cried out in shock and pain. From my limited view in my position, I could see some sources of light and tendrils flickering around behind me that looked somewhat familiar.
Tatsuya released his hand and the electricity and light dissipated just as suddenly as it had started. I gasped for air as Tatsuya lifted himself off me and put a bit of distance between us. I wasn't sure what he had done, but I'd been shocked back to my senses. I no longer felt an overwhelming desire for him, but I did still have the thirst for his blood pestering me softly in the back of my mind. My back where the etchings were pulsed and burned like a blistering sunburn.
"He should have sensed that one..." Tatsuya muttered quietly to himself, not looking at me and starting to make his way to the door.
I sat up properly, sitting on the side of the bed, my muscles sore from this whole ordeal.
I reached my hand out and winced at the movement, "W-wait. What's going on? What was that?"
Tatsuya gave me a fleeting glance through his slightly disheveled hair as his hand rested on the door handle. "I'm challenging your master to come out of hiding. He can't withstand this torment much longer." Tatsuya's mouth curved slightly upward as he said this.
"I don't understand any of this..." My defeated voice trailed off as my gaze fell to the ground.
"Sleep."
Tatsuya's one word command hit me like he'd physically pushed me with his hand on my chest. I fell back onto the bed and as my eyelids closed involuntarily, I sensed him leave and heard the door lock and seal me inside this dim underground room with a loud hollow thud.
Hey there! It's been such a long time... I doubt I'll have much of a following here but I'll be forever grateful for any engagement. Thank you soo much <3
Sometimes, no matter how hard you try, nothing ever seems to go right. Will a chance encounter in Takashi's melancholy world bring him out of the deep abyss of despair he has fallen into, or only bring him more pain...?
