Ezekiel had told me to make Violet go next because she might try to get out of it. But he forgot about me! Who’s going to tell me to go? I didn’t need to worry though. 

“ Once I go in that game. You better not chicken out. I do not want to be stuck in whatever that is. Because you chickened out. Got it?” Those words came from Violet. 

Which was scary because in the 15 minutes I had known her she had never said or acted like someone who would say that. You think you know a person. 

Violet rolled a two. Talk about bad luck the only two places she could go was the question mark or the living room. She decided on the question mark. Though she didn’t get sucked in when she put her piece down. 

“Well, we're fucked. Ya think it’s broken?” I said

Violet replied, “ Yeah no shit sherlock the game’s broken.” 

It took her a few minutes to realise what she said.

“Oh my gosh! I am so sorry I said that to you. I’m just really stressed and I don’t know what was happening. I’m just confused and…” She went on.

“Hey, why don’t we just keep playing and see what happens ok? I know you are worried. Hopefully, it’s going to be ok.” If that was a good speech Violet should have felt at least a bit better.

She decided to pick up a card. It read. 

“Miranda Greenwood was acting suspiciously earlier. Question the player. If no one is playing as her free card to question anyone.”

Then she disappeared. Now all I needed to do was take my turn. 

I imagined it as one of these crazy scenes with everyone depending on me. Like when an AFL player scores the tiebreaker. It was only one action or two actually but still. I needed to do this.
