“Aw man, I’m sure you’ll get over her! I bet she didn’t deserve you anyways!” She says.

 I freeze. I didn’t know how to answer I- I was just speechless. I really wanted to hug her at that moment. And I did. I just kind of fall into her arms. And I just start thinking random things about how she’s probably going to think I’m weird or- I’m going to hit on her or something.

“Hey, its okay!” She says.

“Yeah, I guess so, I just really liked her.” I answer.

The bell rings.

Ashley invited me to lunch with her on lunch time. And of course, I agreed. While we’re having a conversation, she asks me:

“Soooo… I was wondering if you’d want to come by my house? Just to hang out.”

“Yeah!!” I say. I sound excited but on the inside I was literally having the worst butterflies of my life.

“Are you free on Sunday?” She asks.

“Yes, I am but I’m also going to have to ask my mum.” I say.

“Okay!”
