"EEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!" screamed Sarah. She never seemed to lose the ability to scream. Precisely at the right moments too. Despite her ear-piercing voice, the creature stared at her unblinkingly.

"Hi," it said.

Sarah screamed and fainted again.

Rushing to her side, Jen and Alex helped her up and leaned her against the wall of the cave. Then they turned to the questionable creature. Jen and Alex asked, "Who or what ARE you?" The creature turned to look at them. It was at least twice their height, considering Alex was five foot four. "I," it said, "am Zerrakon."

"Terrakion??" asked Jen, to which she was replied, "no."

"Zerrakon. The once-legendary gryffin. Aaand by the way, you're in the Shadow Chasms." it said. Alex punched the air. "Yes!! We made it, peeps!" he said, startling Sarah. The four of them introduced themselves.

"Wait," said Sarah. "A-are you the thing that guards the Revival Gem?" Zerra shook his head and asked, "What exactly is your mission, young travelers?" Jen, Sarah and Alex then began to tale turns to explain what they were doing (or trying to do) as all four of them wlaked deeper into the cave.
