Entry 7:

I’m at the center of the factory, right next to the statue of the man with a sword in his chest. I grabbed a lot of resources from the village of the Aerogel tribe and spent all of my books there, except for my history book, of course. I even have myself a weapon for defense, I got myself an Atlatl.

Weapons in this place are interesting, we make them deliberately weak so that they don’t destroy whoever is unlucky enough to get hit by the weapon.

The reason we make them weaker is because we really don’t want to disconnect anyone from the system, we’ll gladly mess them up and put them in their place, but we don’t want to remove them from the world.

I’ve seen one on one battles break out where after one of them is defeated, the winning robot will not fix the robots, but give them a helping hand of escaping, rather than just leaving them there.

When humans were around, they’d have access to weapons that could kill many people in an instant, and it’s exactly what a lot of those humans did.

It really shows how similar and different humans were to us robots.

Hey, I know I said I won’t interrupt you, but there are 8 Heptacents coming your way.

They’re laughing and I quote them, “that robot’s injuries will be so bad, it will be a masterpiece.”

What the hell? That’s messed up.

As you can see, I am charging, it’s been a year, and it felt a lot longer than a year, but I’m finally charging.

Nice, I’ve been watching through your cameras, you do a good job at being safe I’ll tell you that.

It’s a map of the southeast corner, but the only thing that makes it a map is the patterns of movement that the robot in here has made.

The map will track your position in that place so you’ll have an idea of where you are.

Also, do you see that orange dot?

That’s your goal, that’s where the robot is at.

As you can see, the lines get thicker and thicker when we get to the orange dot.

So I think you should start going now.

Don’t talk to me until you either are charging or are at the building where the orange dot is.

Actually one more thing, before I go.

What is it?

Why do I feel so slow here? I fall to the ground faster, and when I move, I feel like I’m pushing through jelly. Also things are super loud here, like “oh my goodness it’ll break my microphone” loud.

That’s because you’re in the southeast corner.

The southeast corner has the most dense air, and the air in the other corners have found their way to the top of the factory.

That’s why you feel more used to the air in the other corners.

Actually, that’s how the gliders work in the other corners, they have blades that hit the top of the factory and can drag on the air, while the rest of the glider hangs below.

It’s also the reason why it’s so loud here, now I actually can’t hear sounds, but I know how sound works.

Sound is based on vibrations of objects, so when you were in the other parts of the factory, you felt like things were normal, even though they were super quiet.

But now that you’re in here, it’s really loud because there’s more air.

That was a lot to process. But yeah, I get it, I think.

Those Heptacents weren’t using sound, they were communicating through an online chat system that they have. I happen to have access to that system and I saw what they were saying.
