I dusted myself off and sat down.
"Are you comfortable now?" She asked me.
"Right," I answer.
"I will begin to explain to you about Mana. If there's something you don't understand, ask immediately." She raised her right hand to face me.
"Of course," I answer.
"Mana can be understood as a form of pure energy that exists almost everywhere in the world of Interria. All creatures in Interria passively accumulate mana in their bodies over time (however the amount of mana stored will depend on each person's ability to denote MP). Lifeforms with higher intelligence (typically humans and hominoids) can transform, manipulate, and release from the body. That ability is called the Ability To Use Mana (Magic). An event or phenomenon that occurs that requires the use of mana is called Spell. After the Magic is performed, the mana becomes its original form of energy and accumulates to another being." The top of her palm formed a small colorless sphere of energy called mana.
"Mana is transformed into many different types, each of which is more special than the others. For example, the Null form, which is the form of mana energy that exists in my hand right now, has the strong point of Common, which means it has many different uses and is easily accessible to many people. There are also elemental forms such as fire, water, wind, etc., and others."
"Then how can I get Mana Mining skill?" I ask a question
"Pretty simple." Sophia put her hands in front of me.
"Take my hands and close your eyes."
I follow the instructions.
"Now relax and don't think about anything." She said in a very calm voice.
"Next, listen to your breath, exhale and breathe in." After a moment of silence, she spoke up.
I can feel it. My tired breath.
"Finally, feel the currents of mana within you and manipulate it into a sphere in front of you. Then open your eyes."
Energy flows. Like soft silk, coiling around me. I used all my concentration to transform it into the sphere in front of me. When I opened my eyes, instead of being pure white, the orb was mixed with white and black.
"Is this strange?" I ask.

"No, it just shows what attributes you're compatible with. Morlock must be blessing you, the Dark form is a rather rare attribute." She replies.
"Dark form?"
"Ah. It is one of the basic forms of mana along with fire, wind, water, earth, and light. Its strong point is Swallow, which means when used it can steal mana from the opponent."
"Really. Can I still use another form?"
"You can still learn it, but due to the incompatibility of the attribute, it usually consumes more mana and is harder to control. So normally one would use mana to match the attributes of their body."
"And is there anything else I need to pay attention to?"
"Your magic can be affected by your profession, race, talent, experience, and the number of skills you know. For example, the mage job can increase your MP and MA."
There was a knock on the door. Sophia moved towards the door to prepare to unlock it.
"Who there ?" She asked someone outside the door.
"It's me, Veene, here. I want to go in with the two of you."
"OK. Let me open the door."
As soon as the door was opened, Veene rushed in, holding Puff in her hand and hugging me.
"You startled me, Veene."
"I'm sorry, Mr. Hades. It's just that I miss you a little bit."
"Haha, I'm always here." I patted Veene.
"Hihi. Act as if you haven't seen each other in a year. I'm just opening up Hades's mana." Sophia giggled.
"Really. Did Lord Hades need to open mana?"
"What 's wrong," I ask.
"Normally around 4-5 years old, mana can be unlocked," Sophia explained.
"And what attribute do you have?" Veena asked.
"Dark," I answer.
"You have quite a strong attribute, Mr. Hades. I have dual attributes of water and wind." Veene complimented me and created a small sphere in the palm of her hand, that small sphere was a mixture of green and blue.
"Wow. You two are amazing, all have rare attributes...unlike me." Sophia complimented me, but at the last minute, her words turned into a whisper.
"What's wrong, Sophia," I ask.
"Nothing. I need to sleep now. And remember to eat your meal." Sophia took Puff, gave a wry smile, and returned to her room.
"It is strange of her." I thought to myself.
I turned to Veene.
"Get ready to shower and go to bed, Veene. I still have a few things to do."
"Of course, Mr. Hades." Veene took her pajamas into the bathroom.
