- Caden -
I'm fucked man. I'm losing myself.
I took another shot and felt the alcohol burning my throat down to my guts.
I can't stop thinking about her.
"Hey dude, what's up?" My long-time buddy, Ray, popped up from behind and settled next to me.
I smirked, "I'm fucked man."
"Don't need to tell me about your sex life, not cool. Since when were you into fucking these cheap girls anyway?" he took a swig of his drink that the bartender just served him and looked into the distance.
"No it's worse than that."
"No way dude."
"Yes way fucktard."
He laughed and I glared at him, "Not funny."
He wiped his tears away from the laughing and took another drink, "Nice joke."
It was our internal joke about being in a serious relationship. Ray found the love of his life though, and I made fun of him.
Oh how the tables have turned.
"I'm not kidding, she's beautiful. Not just the looks you get what I mean? She pulls me in without even trying," I gulped another shot down and Ray shook his head.
"I don't know if you're serious or not alright? You're fucking drunk."
"No I'm not," I felt my words swim within me and I took another shot.
"Hey listen. It's that girl right? The one you're living with?"
I nodded and he chuckled but continued, "If you want her you gotta do something okay? The worse thing that can happen is that she doesn't feel the same way about you."
"DUDEEE! She fucking hates me I swear, I get all jumbled with my words when I see her. I can't even tell her she's beautiful without screwing it up. My Casanova ego is stupid as fuck dude."
Ray sighed and patted my back, "You can't settle down if you're going to continue being a Casanova. I'll just ask you this, is being with her more worth it than being with all the other bitches you've met?"
I nearly slapped him but I missed and I couldn't really see where he is, everything was so blurry.
"How can you even mention her in a sentence with those whores? She's so lovely, her eyes, it's hiding something. I want to be there for her."
Ray messed with my hair and pulled me up, "Alright that's enough shots for today, let's get you home."
I fell asleep before I could say anything else.

- Cassidy -
It's been two days since the presentation and Caden hasn't come home at all.
So much for, ' I'll see you at home '.
I stood at my balcony, looking out into the vast entrance of my home.
I wonder if he's okay.
I didn't bother looking for him, I mean, we're still not close enough for that.
Someone knocked my door and I let them in, without even turning away from the beautiful view. The stars were so beautiful tonight.
"Miss Rose, Mr Jones is back, but he has a friend with him," my security guard reported and I nodded.
"Sure, let them in."
I stepped up the security in my home, I didn't want another case of someone entering my home just because they have the pass to enter.
I went into the living room and heard a lot of grunting.
"Fuck man this dude is heavy, where the hell is his room?" An unknown voice grumbled.
"It's upstairs," I mentioned lightly.
The man carrying Caden snapped around and looked at me. "Ah, Miss Rose am I right?"
I nodded, "You can call me Cassidy."
"Well I would shake your hands to introduce myself but I'm not really in the position to do that right now," he chuckled while struggling with Caden's drunk body.
I could smell the alcohol from where I stood.
"James! Can you get Caden upstairs please?" I called out to my butler and he appeared from the next room, quickly and carefully taking the drunk man upstairs.
I watched the stranger and he heaved a sigh of relief, "Thanks, I'm Ray by the way, Caden's friend."
I shook hands with him and raised an eyebrow, "So are you the reason why Caden hasn't been home?"
He chuckled, "Well no, he seemed a bit stressed these two nights and I've been accompanying him. But tonight my girlfriend will be home so I can't have him over. She hates it when Caden gets drunk."
"Why is that?"
"He stinks, and he keeps talking non stop. Yeah, just a heads up for you."
I couldn't help giggling, Caden is so troublesome.
Ray smiled, his messy blonde hair, casual tee shirt and ripped jeans just showed me how relaxed he was. "I'll get going now, please take care of him for me."
I nodded and sent him out.
"BUT I DON'T WANT TO!" I heard a yell from upstairs and sighed, "Why must he drink so much?"
I went up to his room and saw my butler trying to calm Caden down.
"But sir you have to change out of your clothes, you spilt water everywhere."
"I DON'T WANT TO JUST LEAVE ME ALONE! RAY! WHO IS THIS CRAZY FUCK?!"
I know I shouldn't, but I laughed a little, he is funnier and a lot more innocent than when he's sober.
"But sir-"
"It's okay James, I'll handle it." I told my butler.
"Miss he kicks-"
I laughed, "Yeah well I can kick too. I'll be fine."
He excused us and Caden was mumbling to himself. I walked over to the bed where he was sprawled on and helped him take his shoes off.
He pulled his leg back and thrust it forward, almost kicking me.
"Caden."
"Whut?" He mumbled.
"Why did you drink so much?" I threw his shoes aside and helped him with his blazer.
He hugged the blazer close to him, "No don't it's mine."
I giggled, "Caden let me change you, I won't change your pants alright?"
He turned to face me and seemed to recognise me, he smiled, "Only my shirt okay? If you go further down you'll be a naughty girl."
I shook my head, he's crazy.
I took his blazer off and he shook his head violently, "Noooooo..."
I rolled my eyes and sat on his bed next to him, "What's wrong?"
Tears started falling out of his eyes and I stared at him. He's crying?
"H-Hey, I'm sorry okay? I don't know what the fuck I did but I'm sorry."
He turned away from me, staring into the distance, tears spilling from his eyes, "Don't leave me."
"What?"
"Don't leave me please."
Is he serious?
"Caden I'm helping to change your shirt that's all."
No noise from him. I peeked over to look at his face, his eyes were closed, his breathing even.
He clenched his hands so tightly I wondered what he was thinking. I turned him slightly, till it was enough for me to help him take his shirt off.
I gulped when I removed the fabric, God he's gorgeous.
His broad firm shoulders, pronounced chest and sculpted abs. I couldn't help staring. I could feel the heat rise up in my cheeks.
I tried to concentrate on the task at hand, I grabbed a dry clean shirt that my butler left on his bed and helped him put it on.
I felt better now that his body was covered. I can think straight.
I watched his peaceful face sleep, his eyebrow twitched and I had to stifle my laughter. I brushed his fringe away from his face and studied his beautiful features.
I let my fingers run down his wide forehead, his nose bridge, his high cheek bones, his chiseled jawline, down to his chest.
I stood up, backing away from him, what am I doing? I'm literally oogling over a man I barely know.
I turned on my heels and went back into my room, that's enough for tonight.
