When we went to the grocery store Emil dashed off but then came to find me when he realized I wasn’t next to him. He repeated this pattern a couple of times before I made a better effort to follow him. I realized that he was grabbing ingredients for the food we had eaten at the picnic, and I smiled at the thought of him making me my favorite foods. 

Although he grabbed ingredients from the picnic, he also grabbed others that I couldn’t place the purpose for. After checking out I carried the bags to the truck, “what’s all this for?” 

My smiled in a proud way, “it’s a secret.” I tilted my head in confusion but rolled with it anyway and got in the truck. 

Sometimes I wish I could know what Emy is thinking. Especially right now as I glanced over at him as he happily thought about some plan or something. I wanted to know what was making him so happy. But if I can’t hear his thoughts then I’ll ask him. “What are you so smiley about cutie?” 

Emil blushed at my last word but shook his head, “secret.”  

“Fine but I look forward to learning this secret at some point?” I said as a question to confirm if it was a secret for me and Emil nodding his head, reassured me of that.  

 

 I am so sorry for the extremely short chapter I feels so bad I just haven't had time this week because I'm going on vacation this weekend for fathers day. I hope you guys understand and aren't too mad. If I get the time during my trip I will write the next chapter and upload it early. Thank you!
