- Caden -
My company was the host for this trip so we had two of our private jets to escort the investors.
After checking in whatever luggage we had, we went to have our breakfast at the departure lounge.
The thing about business trips is that literally it's about business and in this case, I had to attend to all the different investors and I would be fine with all the business talk.
Until I see my Rose sitting at a side, having small talk with a businessman and she's looking so beautiful and relaxed.
It made me want to go over to her and kiss her on her rosy lips.
Ugh it was fucking torture.
She wore a baby pink blouse with a white skirt and she was stunning.
"Mr Jones?" Smith nudged me and I looked at him, "Yeah?"
"Are you done? We have to board the plane soon."
I looked at my almost untouched plate of food and ate a few mouthfuls.
I couldn't help staring at her, she was so pretty.
She looked in my direction and smiled, sending me a wink. I swear my heart exploded.
She giggled at my expression and Parker whispered something to her before they stood up and walked towards the plane.
I grumbled, damn that Parker. I wanted to look at my Rose a little more.
I pushed my food aside and strode towards the plane as well, Smith running behind me to catch up, "Sir, one of the President's sons is coming in place of his father."
I brushed it aside, "Who is that?"
"Charles Anderson, Ace Interior Design's General Manager. The President's son."
I stopped and looked at Smith, "That playboy?"
"You're no better yourself sir," Smith shot at me and I glared at him.
"Smith I bet you are my conscience in the flesh, it's annoying. You're annoying."
He laughed and ran to catch up with me again, "I'm actually glad you like Miss Rose, I've never seen you this happy before."
I smiled, Rose really did make me happy. I've never tried to chase or go after anyone before, Rose will be my first and last.
I bumped into Charles a few times at the club. He was terrible. I saw him spike a few girls' drinks before and managed to get those girls away from him.
Those girls thought I was into them though, hence their numbers were in my phone. I told Smith to cancel my other phone line when I got my new one.
I didn't want any more girls calling me other than Rose.
There were two planes, the investors were making their way up and I didn't know which plane Rose went on to.
"Smith which plane did Rose get on?"
"I believe it's the one in front."
I ran onto the first plane and saw Rose seated in one of the back seats and smiled. I want to scoop her in my arms so bad.
Then I saw a shadow go past me and he settled himself on the seat in front of Rose.
Charles Anderson.
Each plane had eight seats excluding the pilot cabin. Four seats were for the investors and the other four for the secretaries.
I grunted and settled diagonally from Rose so I could at least gaze at her. An old lady sat across from me, an influential lady but I didn't really care. I just wanted to look at my Rose.
The lady started small talk with me as the seat belt sign came on and I tried to keep up with her but I was so occupied with Charles trying to talk to Rose that I couldn't focus on what she was saying.
Rose wasn't even looking at him but he kept talking anyway. Then she raised an eyebrow at him and she rolled her eyes.
I wanted to laugh, she was adorable.
The plane was on the runway now and Rose's eyebrows were scrunched up, she seemed to say something and Charles leaned back in his seat.
He didn't say anything until the plane took off.
"Anyway I'm honoured that your company invited me, it should be fun in Korea," the old lady ended her long speech and I nodded.
"No problem."
Charles reached out and touched Rose's hand. I felt my blood boil but Rose flicked his hand away. She literally flicked his hand away and mumbled something to him before the seat belt sign went off and the pilot announced that we were free to roam on the plane.
She took her seat belt off immediately and strode to the back of the plane where the mini bar was.
I got up and went over to Charles.
"Charles."
He looked up at me and smirked, "Caden."
"Playboy."
"Casanova."
I could feel the scowl on my face, I hated that nickname.
I sat across him and he eyed me, "That seat is taken you know."
I nodded, "I know."
He rolled his eyes, "What do you want dude? First, you steal all the girls I pick up at the club now this?"
"I don't think you're as dumb as I think Charles. You watch the news, you know I'm with Ro-"
I stopped myself, I didn't want him to know I called her Rose.
"You know I'm with Cassidy."
He scoffed, "Come on Caden your nickname is Casanova for a reason. You don't really think Cassidy will settle for a man like you? You've been married three fucking times man."
I gritted my teeth, "That's not up to you to say Charles."
He chuckled, "Whatever dude, I'll talk to her whenever I like, whenever I want. That's not up to you either. I mean look at her body, damn-"
"Shut the fuck up man, the last person who dared to talk about her like that in front of me is still in the hospital. If you don't wanna end up like him I suggest you keep your smartass words to yourself."
He put his hands up in surrender, "Well someone's triggered."
I stood up and straightened myself, "Watch yourself Charles, I'm warning you."
He rolled his eyes and I went to the back of the plane.
Seeing my beautiful Rose sitting on a bar stool with a drink in hand.

Oh my God, I thought Caden was bad when I first saw him.
Charles was worse.
The moment he sat opposite me I could smell his cologne, it wasn't nice.
At least Caden smelled and looked good.
Charles had a good body but nothing close to Caden.
He was relatively toned and fit and his sense of fashion was fine but damn his mouth was like rubbish.
"Hello sexy, would you be interested in having a taste of me?"
I rolled my eyes at him and he continued talking.
"I'm Charles by the way, just in case you don't know me. Though you should, every girl knows my name. Especially someone as hot as you."
I ignored him. I stared out the window and watched the plane go on the runway.
"Come on, if you can accept Caden you can accept me for sure," I narrowed my brows, I was getting a headache.
"Hi Charles, it's not very nice to see you. It's our first time meeting and you sound like a dick. I would appreciate it if you kept quiet."
He seemed surprised to hear that from me and he leaned back.
The plane took off and it felt exhilarating for me. It was like I was on a roller coaster.
Then Charles touched my hand.
"Cassidy I will welcome you to my room any time. If you're ever lonely you know? I can do a much better job than Caden." He gave me what he felt was a seductive stare but I almost puked.
I flicked his hand away with my freshly manicured nails from yesterday, "Take your disgusting hands off me and stop comparing yourself to Caden you self-absorbed, insecure fucker.
I don't care if you are some rich man's son, if you don't respect me I won't give two fucks about you."
The seat belt sign went off and I went to the mini bar. I asked the bartender for a glass of sakura wine and I was surprised he had it.
Not many places have it.
Parker came up to me, "Miss are you alright?"
I nodded, "I'm fine, since when was some weirdo allowed to come? We're not a childcare centre you know?"
He laughed, "Well I'm sorry but he's the interior designer's son and he came in his father's place. Cut him some slack."
I glared at Parker, "If he doesn't respect me like a proper woman I won't cut him any fucking slack."
Parker chuckled and shook his head, "Alright calm down there princess, you can let me know if he does anything alright? I'll put him in his place if you need me to."
"Thanks," I sipped on my wine and felt better, it was nice and sweet.
"By the way, Mr Jones is talking to Mr Anderson, seems like they know one another."
"Make sure Caden doesn't beat him up, because I nearly did."
He laughed and nodded, "Okay princess."
He left and a few minutes later Caden appeared from behind me.
"Rose."
"Caden."
His ears were red, he must be stressed by Charles.
"You alright?"
I nodded, "I'm fine, did you tell him off?"
"Well yeah but you know since I'm just your best girl friend-"
I laughed out loud literally, "You're really not going to let it go."
He shook his head, "Until I get my promotion I'll keep going at it."
"I'll fall in love with you if you keep doing that Caden."
"By all means please fall for me," he held his hand out and I took it.
He kissed my hand and I giggled, he's so dramatic.
He looked up at me and gazed into my eyes. His eyes were so pretty, brown with little sparkles or maybe just to me.
It matched his hair, brown with blonde hints.
I loved it.
He smiled and called for the bartender that appeared a second later, "I'll have whatever she's having."
He handed a glass to him and poured the wine in.
Caden took a sip and his eyes widened, "I've never tried this before, what is this?"
I laughed, "It's your plane Caden, how can you not know what is on your plane?"
"Your lips are still sweeter than this though."
Did he really just say that?
The bartender smirked but cleared his throat and left us alone.
"Caden."
He chuckled, "What? It's the truth. Also by right, I'm supposed to be your boyfriend so it's alright for me to say it but since I'm only your best girl friend-"
I leaned in and kissed him, to stop him from talking. He was extremely gorgeous but unbelievably talkative.
I loved that about him though.
He recovered from my sudden kiss pretty quick.
He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me in further.
His breath was intoxicating, I could barely think. My hands were in his hair and he pulled away slightly, before leaning down to bite my neck gently.
Oh my God.
A sound escaped from the back of my throat and Caden chuckled, "You like that?"
I leaned on him for support and he licked the spot he just bit, "Slowly my princess."
He pulled away and gazed at me intensely. His eyes were full of lust but with a little bit of playfulness.
"Caden."
"Rose."
I leaned my forehead on his, trying to get my senses back, "You're crazy."
He chuckled, "Yes I am, crazy for you."
I laughed breathlessly and pecked his lips, "You're too much for me Caden, I'll go crazy if you keep this up."
He shrugged, "I told you I'll catch you if you fall for me."
"I know but still," I straightened myself and ran my hand through his hair, "I'm not ready."
He sighed, "I know, I'll wait. I promise."
I felt my heart break a little at the tone of his voice, this was all too fast. We both knew better.
I held his hand and we went back to our seats.
But someone was in my seat, an elderly lady. I recognised her because my father always had to talk to her last time. She had a lot of deals and opportunities but you must be close enough to her for her to let you have an insight.
She was talking to Charles and the grimace and pain on his face was hilarious.
Caden quickly pulled me to his seat and let me sit opposite him. Charles scowled behind us and we laughed quietly.
This trip is going to be fun.
