I Know He's a Villain, But I can't Resist Him

Chapter 2

Chapter 2

Jun 20, 2022

“Nnnn.” I grunted, waking up from passing out. “Where am I?” I gasped, finding myself in a jail cell. It was like a tiny little dungeon with a few cells on both sides of the room, all the others were empty except for mine.

Ok think, how did I wind up here. I wracked my mind almost until steam came out of my ears, but I couldn’t remember past picking a fight with Silver. He was unusually strong somehow. I have been trained in martial arts since I was pretty much old enough to walk as my parents both work for the same agency as me so they wanted to start me early, so I know a thing or two about fighting, but I couldn’t even land a punch. Not only that, but he knocked me out with only one hit. That’s never happened to me before!

The question is why did he bring me here? Maybe to prevent me from communicating with my team, all the fancy heavy equipment that I had brought with me on the mission is now gone, in fact there’s really nothing in this jail cell except a bench to sit on. My eyes darted around the room trying to find a weak point where I could escape, but there was nothing. It's just an empty cell, no vents or anything. Just concrete and bars. Out of curiosity I kicked each of the bars to see if maybe there was a weak one I could slam my body into over and over and knock it off, but nope they’re all solid. I suspected as much but you never know unless you try!

One last thing I could try. “Silver!” I shouted at the top of my lungs. It echoed off the walls making it louder than it actually was. “Let me out of here!” I started kicking the bars with more force to make a bunch of noise. “Arrrggghhh!” I shouted in anger, I know I need to get my anger under control a bit but I don’t really take getting locked up very nicely.

After a few minutes of me having my adult temper tantrum, calling Silver pretty much every curse word in the book, plus every very unique ones that I could think of I heard some leisurely footsteps down the hall thanks to the echo of the empty jail cells.

“Silver!” I shouted more profanities at him. “Let me out of here!”

Silver came strolling up to me smiling and whistling a tune I didn’t recognize. “Well, well, well. Not enjoying your living arrangements? I picked it out especially for you though!”

“Quit messing around and let me out of here!” I complained, putting both my hands on the bars and shaking. It was more like I was shaking myself but I wanted to make a point.

“Why would I want to do that? It doesn’t benefit me any.” He chuckled slyly and ran a hand through his silver slicked back hair. I wonder what he uses on his hair that perfectly held it in place like that? My hair is always constantly such a mess or super poofy.

I raised my hand jokingly. “Question. Is that your natural hair color, are you like going super gray and silverish naturally?” Though I do have to admit it framed his face pretty well, from his deep blue eyes, to his slightly curled up smile. Even the slight scar on his cheek pulled together the look very well. If he wasn’t a bad guy I’m sure the ladies would swarm all over him.

“I’d watch your mouth if I were you, that’s what got you down here to begin with!”

“Ugh what do you want?” I replied. Clearly he’s keeping me here for a reason, even if just to keep me from communicating.

“Hmmm. We’ll see.” He was swinging the key around on his finger. “I’ll let you out on the condition that you stay in the same room as me.” He looked so calm and seemed to enjoy toying with me. “Jail cell, with no bathroom or food, or my bed? What’s your choice?”

“Whhhattt!!” I gasped. “What’s wrong with you?!”

“I don’t think you’re in the position to be questioning me.” He held up the watch on his wrist. I could see his muscles bulging from under his tight shirt. “You have thirty seconds to decide, if you say no I may just accidentally lose the key.”

“Fine.” I grumbled.
