A/N: This is not a spice warning, but a gore warning So, if enough people can't handle the Kool-aid then I'll mark it as mature
Greyson rolled off of me and grumbled.
I looked at him with curiosity, as he stared at his ceiling and remarked how the mood was ruined yet again.
His lean body looked sleek from sweat and I watched as a bead of sweat lingered a little too long on his lower abdomen. I unconsciously swallowed as he raised his hand and brushed it through his hair. He mumbled something before looking at me and my stomach churned. His grey eyes looked playfully at mine. He had a small smile on his lips, but it dropped quickly when I just continued to stare.
His brows furrowed and it caused the lower part of me to twitch.
"Well?"
Crap he was asking me a question! I had to think hard. What was he saying before I started looking at his chest?
Without realizing it, my eyes followed another drop of sweat as it rolled past his hips. I forgot Greyson was staring at me and regret immediately filled my thoughts as his lips curled into his infamous smile.
Crap.
"I have to go." I quickly jumped out of the bed and ran toward what I hope was a bathroom door. I didn’t make it far however, because my boxers were still wrapped around my ankles and I faceplanted on the floor.
Greyson burst into laughter behind me and I just laid there, too embarrassed to move. I heard shuffling of sheets before, I felt a pair of cool hands on my waist. I shoved them off and pushed myself off the ground.
"Don't tease me, Maddy. It's not nice." Greyson chuckled.
I rolled my eyes and made sure to slam the bathroom door and lock it behind me. It was only quiet for a moment, and I took the opportunity to rest against the toilet before the door handle started to jiggle. I stared intently at the lock hoping it would hold.
"I'd rather not break my own bathroom door down. Maddy, do we always have to every time something gets too intense?"
I could hear Greyson sigh in frustration and I furrowed my brows in frustration.
Is he joking? Does he still not get that I don’t know how to deal with any of this stuff?
I grunted in response and turned toward to face the shower. I didn't hesitate to turn it on in order to drown out his voice. I pulled off my boxers and put my hand under the water. While it was still heating up, I decided to check myself in the mirror above the sink.
Dull green eyes stared back at me and my brown hair clung to my forehead. I may have been over the sniffles, but I was still sick. I had to be. I mean why else would I be acting this way? I, Maddy Hastings, was not one to just catch feelings for a guy and jump into bed with him the first chance I got.
"Woof, you’re not looking too good there, champ."
I jumped back a little and scrunched up my nose. There was no one else in the room, which only meant one thing, the voice in my head was back.
