“Hey! Evan, it’s actually almost time for school today so wake up.” I woke up to Sam standing by my bed all ready to leave.

“Ugh, I don’t wanna go back. Why can’t school be overrrrr.” I already went through half the year why can’t I just skip the other half?

“Come on Evan it’s not that bad, it’s the last of school then it’s over. You’ll never have to go back.” I know Sam is right but it’s so much effort!!!

“Fine fine, I’ll get ready. Is mom here by the way? Or did she leave for work already?” My mom normally leaves pretty early so she’s rarely home in the mornings.

“She already left so I’ll make some breakfast for you while you get ready. So hurry up otherwise we’ll be late on our first day back.” The first day isn’t normally that eventful but it’s good to be there early anyway to figure out class stuff.

“Alright I get it so get out, I need to change.” Sam walked out of my room so he could go make breakfast. 

  -At the school-

“I already wanna go home,” I said as I walked into the school grounds.

“Come on keep walking. You never know you might have fun.” Sam smiled.

“I want to die.” I have nothing else to say just this.

“Whatever dummy, let’s go to class now.” Sam rolled his eyes. As we walked into our class I saw a few faces I recognized as well as some I didn’t at all. There are a couple of annoying people here but overall this class isn’t too bad. We walked to our seats, I sit at the fourth chair up next to the windows. Sam sits in front of me. I’m pretty sure Daniel and Ash are in this class as well if they didn’t switch their classes. 

  -After class - Lunch-

“There were quite a few new people this time huh! I have been seeing a lot of people I haven’t seen before today! Although there was nobody new in our class haha.” Tracy said as I and Sam sat down at the table. She gave us a weird look and then continued to talk to Liz. 

“There was only one new kid in our class,” Daniel added as he sat next to Liz.  

“Are you talking about Michael? He seemed pretty cool.” Ash sat across from Daniel.

“Yeah! Michael was his name, he was chill not too bad. What did you guys think about him?” Daniel looked at me and Sam asking for our opinions of him.

“He doesn’t seem too bad, it’s not like he’s loud and annoying so I don’t mind him.” Sam doesn’t seem to care to much.

“I don’t mind him but he did get sat next to Dylan… So that could go one of two ways. Either he’ll be made fun of or if Dylan likes him enough he might work with him.” Dylan is super annoying so that can’t be good for the poor new kid.

“I didn’t think about that… We should watch out for him.” Daniel may not really care about a lot of people but Dylan can be kinda extreme sometimes… By now our whole friend group is either sitting down or the ones that just got here are standing because we ran out of seats.

“Oh, speaking of new students! There was a really pretty new girl in our class!” Liam said still chewing his food.

“Wasn’t her name Mage? It’s a pretty unique name.” Dav said as he finished the last of his food.

“Yeah, she sits next to me in class actually, she’s really funny too!” Grace said smiling. 

“Shoot the bell is about to ring! We need to clean our stuff up.” Ash said as he looked at his phone. 

“Alright cya guys later!” Tracy said rushing out. The rest of us had to go to our classes as well.
